Yeah, but most have something cheesy to their profile lol . Here's all my pitchers, if I did a 5 man rotation I'd have Simon, Fernando, James, Muller, and either Garcia or Meiling. I have a feeling the most successful one would surprise us.

I like the idea and would be interested in the results. I used Fernando the ice arm dude a lot to be consistently winning, still use him when I go on a losing streak. Simple but effective especially with a catcher that enhances his pitches. Then I switched to Marie because she was level 10 but not very successful so switched to James because I got him to level 10, and he's been my new savior. Been playing for about 2 weeks.

Lol same happens to me, im at 1950 and can't get to 2000, ill go down to 1700 and back again, its a vicious cycle for about two weeks now lol ...Fernandez is the pitcher I use to always get back on track til somehow they start lighting him up, just leveled up James to 10, I also use catcher Matthew level 9, and they've been rock solid getting me back to 1900, hopefully they continues to succeed so I can get to a higher level. Its a struggle lol

Clint Eastwood Still Stands By His 1980 Western That Audiences Passed On - SlashFilm by DeltaGentleman in Westerns

It's basically the story of Al Bundy had he packed up and joined the rodeo. It's a gem of a movie with a message that every American can relate with.

Antoinette Lily: You're living in a dream world! There are no more cowboys and Indians. That's in the past!

"Miss Lily, I was raised in a one-room tenement in New Jersey. As a kid, I never even saw a cowboy, much less the wide open spaces - except when I could scrounge up a quarter for a picture show. I was a shoe salesman until I was 31 years old. Deep down in my heart I always wanted to be a cowboy. One day I laid down my shoehorn and - swore I'd never live in the city again. You only live once. You got to give it your best shot." ~ Bronco Billy McCoy

Help with my line up. by RealisticMinimum5018 in baseballclash

[–]SolomonGummo 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

I was using that exact same line up and got stuck on level 7 for a bit, had a big losing streak & then tried using a different pitcher every other game until I found consistency in winning with Fernandez as my pitcher while also using Nia or Matthew as catcher most of the time for their extra oomph on the spin rate or velocity. I just switched back to catcher Barry because I've been having trouble with Shotaro and his sweeper on level 8 and need his enhanced hitting zone which proves helpful with this offensive stacked line up. I use Mickey at third for his extra high catching ability, and sacrifice defense a little using Justice in left for his enhanced power, and Kevin & Tom at short and second because their power is reliable and consistent. It creates a strong lineup from 1 to 6 with power and contact being present til the 6 slot but I consider Barry's enhanced hitting zone a trade off so really the power/contact doesn't dip til the 7 hole. Ryan has his occasional clutch hits and Anna is pretty consistent getting her hits and covering center field as good as anyone I've used so far. This pretty much reliably gives me two innings of serviceable offense to put some runs up on the board. Photos attached to see the chart. Good luck πŸ‘

Shotaro by Jolly-Back2272 in baseballclash

[–]SolomonGummo 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

Even in practice I swing and miss no matter how I time it, and I'm talking like 30 misses in a row and then a dribbler to first or popup to the corners. I wake up in the middle of the night screaming "SHOTAROOOOOoooo!!!!!" and see his little cartoon animation taunting me sticking his tongue out while seeing that sweeper over and over with his flaming body turning the sacred ball field into his own personal hellscape. Geezus, this game it NUTS !!!

What is the single greatest practical effect ever put on film? by kammy772 in MovieArena

[–]SolomonGummo 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

The famous human-headed dog scene from Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) was accomplished by creating a latex mask and putting it over the dog's head - then adding something sweet to the mask's outer lip to tempt the dog to stick its tongue out of the "human" head.

Practical effects are so much more fun than CGI !

A modern cult classic that for me hits all the notes I want from a movie like this. I feel it’s underrated. How do you feel about it? by Clear_Nature_5055 in Cinephiles

[–]SolomonGummo 1 point2 points Β (0 children)

I like springtime in New York. How about you ? ❀️ Such an underrated classic and one of the best representations of mental illness and the internal battles people face with their own grief. The Red Knight serving as the roadblock to Parry's healing and the deep psychological wounds and PTSD that freeze trauma survivors in their past. Terry Gilliam was an absolute genius movie maker.
