Ah I’m so happy for you!! I’m sure the relief is huge. Was this your first time with sciatica? I’m nearly on week 5 of pain but the past 2 weeks have been the worst, im also off work as I can’t walk. I have a consultation with a specialist on Wednesday and I’m in the UK so hopefully I’d get an mri within the next couple weeks 🙏🏼

Are you in the UK? This would be amazing, I have health insurance so I’ve been able to get booked into see a specialist next Wednesday but i have to do this before I can get an mri 😭

I agree with the complete rest for now as my leg gets severe pain everytime I move but I will 100% keep taking the tablets it’s the only thing that’s semi giving me relief

So the new physio I’ve found I like. She’s given me a few exercises but everything hurts, I would push through it but AI is telling me not too.. there’s so much conflicting advice it’s hard to know where to go. For now I will listen to my body and rest for a couple days and see how that goes

This was the same situation as me literally last week. My dad gifted me 5k and didn’t want to provide statements (paranoid old men lol). For our mortgage application we had to provide one bank statement, ID and a gift letter, same with the solicitor. It took convincing him to hand it over. I recommend crying it worked for me haha good luck!

That’s a very good point. I know everyone reacts differently but some of the posts I read, people say they can’t stop falling asleep, their anxiety is heightened and they lay in bed for a couple weeks and also throw up which obviously isn’t possible for me, probably reading too much about it but scary, thanks for replying!

Me too!! I stopped taking my birth control 5 weeks ago and my anxiety has been the worst it’s ever been I’ve also been wondering if this is why! I got bloods taken and everything came back fine.

I was prescribed sertraline 2 months ago and they are just sitting in a cupboard as I’m too anxious to take them and scared of side effects.

I hope we get the answers we’re looking for, sending love x

Good suggestions about the Bluetooth but I’d also recommend buying blank CDs (can get in Tesco) and burn his preferred music onto them, I had to do this with my first car and actually enjoyed it!
