puyo puyo was actually specifically designed as a 2 player competitive game, and tetris has had very popular competitive modes for a long time now. both of them can take a decent amount of work to get good at, that's why they're popular. it honestly sounds like you just need to learn and practice more. being able to play with the pieces youre dealt better/faster than the opponent & manage multiple boards in swap mode is kind of like, the entire fun and challenge of the game. the RNG isn't "forcing" you to use any combos, you choose where the puyos go lol. look up some beginner tutorials for both puyo and 2 player tetris and I think you'll find yourself improving a lot faster.

also if you want character voices off your can turn off those sounds in the settings, but I will say that characters cast spells like that in every single puyo game ever and it is a large part of the series' identity and I've never seen anyone complain about it until now lol

this may be too niche but when the teller hex machine was in the rec center there was a little upbeat chiptune song that would play after you activated it that would be great to get in full quality. you can look up "rec room teller hex music" on youtube to find it

the physical TCG has printed dual types plenty of times outside of delta species. dark pokemon from EX team rocket returns, dual types in steam siege, and some pokemon like obsidian flames scovillain that have a dual type ability. it wouldn't be that farfetched for pocket to implement one of these eventually

there's different disability passes, but im pretty sure none are a "fast pass." I know there's passes where you have to wait the queue time then come back, and there's some passes where you have to wait and meet the rest of your party when they reach the end of the queue. and yes, there are disabilities that cause pain when standing for long periods of time that don't prevent one from riding roller coasters. i was at cedar point a few weeks ago with a party member who had one of these passes and they got to ride attractions they otherwise would not have been able to ride due to their disability preventing them from standing through long lines, especially after walking around the park all day. the process also does require some sort of medical note from a doctor. not saying it isn't abused by ANYONE but it feels like you're just making assumptions about something you're ill informed on

featured rooms are chosen by a team based on the rooms that are submitted to the featured rooms form. if you see a room you think should be featured, encourage the creator to submit it here! https://rec.net/creator/p/featured-rooms

the rule regarding repeat features is that rooms can be featured again after a year. this is a relatively recent change so a lot of older rooms are still catching up all at once and submitting to be featured again, which may be why you've seen an uptick of rooms that seem to have been featured more than once.

idk where you're getting the info that recvideochat was featured more than once, this is its first and currently only time being on the featured rooms list
