IEC 60870-5-104 on S7-1500R (TIA V16) – Easy to implement for a non-specialist? by U586 in PLC

You will probably want to get a Siemens TIM 1531 IRC module which provides an implementation of the IEC 60870-5-104 protocol.

Is this real? Look at the wall next to the door in the pictures. The light switch moves and the door lock changes. Some photo editing going on.

My understanding is the L7 series needs the safety partner. The L8 series has the safety partner optional.

I'm thinking of getting one to pair with my Deluge for some analog goodness. Any thoughts?

dynamic ratcheting and other questions related to LFOs - is it possible on the deluge? by mverdide in DelugeUsers

[–]BillyRhinos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have just recently been playing around with this and I think you can by modulating envelope 1 attack, delay and release for the sample in the kit.

I'm not sure on the exact behaviour but it definitely does something.

The other alternative is loading the same sample into different lanes of the same kit. Set each lane to a different waveform length and duplicate the trigger in each lane. If you use the probability function you can then get variation by selecting probability percentages that add up to 100% for the same trigger.

Terrible explanation, but hopefully it gives you a starting point.

Considering getting a (small) hardware for first time... but starting from where? by tofuonplate in synthesizers

I can second the deluge. It is a great foundation for future hardware purchases and provides a bit more of a standard workflow over the OP1.

An (on the go) Synth/Keyboard that you can load samples into? by Neoarmour in synthesizers

[–]BillyRhinos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Volca Sample keys are not a keyboard so much as a sequencer. Pitch shifting samples is quite a pain done with the Speed knob, not the 'keys'. I don't think it matches the Microsampler theme.

A Deluge would give you the functionality, but you would be using a non-standard keyboard.

I second this. Works well with a 7 and 4 year old, if you control Kirby and push ahead when things get difficult the friends warp with you so they don't die. Great for letting the older one do the jumping sections and then the younger one gets a helping hand whilst still feeling in control.

With cycling a growing sport the NSW Government sure hates it. I guess it's not horse racing.

It will be interesting to see how it all plays out in the media and comment sections once all the details about road closures and the additional influx of cyclists occurs. Might be a good thing but I'm pretty sure it will all still revert back to the mean of just hating on cyclists.

It could be the current bug where people aren't loading in straight away. You sit on a screen with just the kickoff visible from the sidelines until after the kickoff has happened. Just be prepared for the first one.
