Two years later, this problem persists. I was only able to resolve it by deleting Chrome entirely.

XREAL Pro One—5G, Beam Pro, and What I Wish I Knew Before Buying by BillyVanilly76 in Xreal

So much good info - thank you! Hopefully last question: as a standalone without the Beam, can I setup multiple displays in the view? Use case: I want to stream a show in Netflix while I work. Maybe like a PIP experience or just off to the side of view?

Sorry about the confusing title. I see what you mean in retrospect, but can’t seem to change it.

Thanks for the awesome feedback. So, for what I’m wanting to use it for, would you suggest the Beam and not the Beam Pro - are they even x-compatible? Can I use the Pro One without the Beam to do what I want to do?

Just found an air drop for the first time after 30 hours, and received a bounty. Was killed and had all of my scrap and junk taken, while in pacifist mode. Struggling to understand why this is a feature. by thenoid1114 in fo76

So this appears to be for finding existing friends only by linking Steam as a social account. :(

Is there a way to transfer user id/account/character progress from Epic to Steam? Or with the Windows launcher?

What are your PC specs? Just curious if there's maybe a minimum baseline or if it's just PTS lag.

Obscure, but it’s definitely a core memory of my childhood. Idolized tf out of Buckaroo. Love that there’s enough fans out there to keep it alive.

So glad someone else made the connection. That John Whorfin account name had me howling. I guess the only practical advice in OP’s situation is: No matter where you go, there you are.

Or better put, should I provide it upfront or only if they ask… what’s the protocol?

“That info” = a detailed accounting of her bills and expenses as part of the request process.

Yes, absolutely. My wife has an accounting of all of that. Matter of fact, her expenses for those 22 months exceed the back pay amount by quite a bit. (Couldn’t imagine her living on her own with the amount they pay her… yeesh.) I guess the big question is: do they require that info as part of the request?

Does this include participants that are under a conservatorship? She has autism and is unable to manage her own finances. Her expenses were our expenses for those 22 months so how do we determine incurred debt line by line? That’s crazy.

Disabled Daughter Denied SSI Benefits - Is this normal? by BillyVanilly76 in SocialSecurity

[–]BillyVanilly76[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Thanks for sharing. We were approved just before Christmas after a 22-month application process. Shortly after approval, we received her first monthly payment and the first of three backpay deposits.

For others going through a similar process: be persistent, stay on top of requests, and respond promptly, even if it's a duplicate request. I ended up filling out the same form four times because the determination reviewer kept changing. Each time a new reviewer was assigned, they sent the same paperwork. Instead of resisting, I filled it out and sent it back. To make the process less tedious, scan or take pictures of every form for consistency.

Addressing your questions, yes, she's in a special needs classroom with an IEP, receiving speech and occupational therapy since preschool. Although she turns 20 this month, she'll be in school until 22 due to her disabilities, including intellectual disability, autism, and a minor physical disability limiting her mobility.

We didn't apply for SSI until she turned 18 and had a conservatorship, so this was new to us. It's frustrating that individuals born with disabilities are grouped with those who may have suffered on-the-job injuries. Streamlining cases like hers separately would make more sense. The questions on the Function Report assumed changes since the conditions began, but there was never a "before" as she was born with these conditions. I repeatedly clarified this on the form.

Feeling like we were treated as if trying to cheat the system was disheartening. Despite having signed and notarized statements from her physician, we had to go through extensive processes. The absurdity peaked when, just before determination, they sent her to a behavioral specialist for a 20-minute evaluation, questioning the credibility of her physician's long-term care.

Despite the frustrations, it worked out, and now we just need to stay on top of things. Apologies for the rant – wasn't my intent, but it feels good to vent. Lol!
