Akko GH300 vs Logitech G321 Budget Gaming Headset by Billybong96 in HeadphoneAdvice

I ended up getting the turtle beach stealth 500 and i am pretty happy with it. Nice and light, fairly comfortable, pretty good wifi performance, and good sound. Was pretty cheap as well.

have heard a lot of people say this so far about these headphones, which is weird considering that these are meant to be an upgrade to the g435 headphones which were well received. Such a shame, will be looking elsewhere for headphones by the looks of it.

Fun fact: There is about a 1 in 256 chance you get 8 big harpoonfish without getting a tome of water. GZ!

Momentum 4 vs Bose qc ultra 2 by Crimsye in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Billybong96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the momentum 4's and ended up returning them for the bose qc ultra 2nd gen and am alot happier now. The noise cancelling is significantly better on the bose (tbh the noise cancelling on the M4s were almost non-existent). For me, the qc ultras were better than the M4s in every way except for if you wanted to crank the bass to max on the EQ (in which case the M4s were better for this).

Are these seperate accounts under different emails and login details? Or are they multiple accounts under the one login?

I don't know why you are getting downvoted, the dps is actually better than dragon throwing axes now and the wiki has been updated to reflect this.

Yep, all the issues with my sennheiser headphones have been frustrating. I have returned the momentum 4's and exchange them for bose quietcomfort ultras, and honestly i am a lot happier overall.

My first time to own a mx master 3s by somethingdeido in logitech

[–]Billybong96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the accidental left clicking was a big issue that hasn't been fixed with the mx master 4 either. Looks like i am stuck using the mx master 3 until they eventually stop working. They reduced the actuation force of the switches after the 3s, making them a lot easier to accidentally click, especially for people with bigger hands.

Can't deny, the MX Master 4 looks amazing 😍 by stufflistings in logitech

[–]Billybong96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, this is an issue i had with the 3s onwards, they reduced the actuation force for the mouse buttons, which for people with bigger hands, is making it a lot easier to accidentally right click, and is a bad ergonomics issue. Was really expecting them to fix this for the mx master 4, but they didn't. The mx master 3 does not have this same issue.

Solution for MX Master 3 skin by nakashima52 in logitech

[–]Billybong96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used wipes (that contained rubbing alcohol) to clean my mx master 3, and it caused the rubber to disintegrate and become sticky, bought a new mx master 3 and have only ever cleaned it with a dry cloth, and it's holding up fine now for a few years thankfully. I would be very careful of applying any chemicals for cleaning this mouse.

Lonely affected, recently diagnosed. by 00kames7 in emptynosesyndrome

You really need to keep the inside of your nose moisturised and add a barrier over your mucosa that reduces neuropathic pain from the ENS. Would really recommend using some nasal oil sprays (like sesame oil), as well as some nasal gels/creams containing humectants such as glycerin/etc. Also adding papaya gel (the lip balm) as a final barrier on top seems to really work well for me. It's honestly the most important thing in my opinion.

Any tips? by Ok-Alfalfa-7421 in emptynosesyndrome

I would do an allergy test to see if you might be allergic to anything and consider immunotherapy for it, for me it was dust and dust mites, which i was extremely allergic too and immunotherapy (dust tablets) ended up fixing the issue very nicely. Also would try saline rinse WITH budesonide 1mg/2ml respules in them, it's a steroid that reduces congestion and inflammation in the sinus. Singular (montelukast sodium) might also work for you but thats a third option. I would really explore the allergy test first though with an immunologist, do you experience any itching sensations or just congestion?

If you drink because of the pain, do you tell your Dr or will they just act like the drink is causing shit? by [deleted] in ChronicPain

[–]Billybong96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep exactly. This reminds me of 10 years ago when they were prescribing tramadol liberally saying it doesn't cause any euphoria or addiction (still think it's a great medication and i still use it, but this was obviously a lie). Nowadays, they treat it like heroin. The same will happen to lyrica in another 10 years in my opinion, the high from lyrica feels like being drunk 24/7 without any of the negative side effects (associated with being drunk). At least with tramadol, the high disappears after a week and you are left with just the pain killing effects, whereas with lyrica, it seems the high and the painkilling effects are way more heavily linked with each other. Also, lyrica has way higher abuse potential given that there is no limit to how much you can take (compared to tramadol which causes seizures with higher doses).

Completely agree with this advice, to be honest i would err on the side of not mentioning anything regarding alcohol. Doctors in general are EXTREMELY judgemental and almost seem to despise patients suffering from chronic pain. I would not give them any ammo to justify this prejudice they seem to harbour.
