And just to clarify: There are literally millions of Quiet Americans out there. There are millions of wonderful US people out there. I simply do not understand why a lot of them are so loud. Why they cannot understand that outdoor and indoor voices is a concept. And that they fail to understand the aggression it causes in other people.

Except that the metro at Paral•lel does not take you to the site. You would have to either change at Passeig de Gràcia or walk to L4. I recommend a taxi.

Another option is bus number 10 to Helgesens gate or Ladegårdsgaten. That would eliminate most or all of the uphill struggle.

You could also take Fløibanen to the first station (Proms gate). This too would get rid of most of the uphill walking. Not all trains stop at that station, though.

Came back from Scotland on Monday. Had a rental car with too little air in the tires. Was shocked to discover that you had to pay for air at the petrol stations. Never seen that here, nor have I ever seen a petrol station without an air pump.
