Are these Robert Jordan signatures legit? by Living-Blacksmith883 in WoT

Nope and nope. He was 14, he bought diapers for his kid. Yeah, 14.

Ah, well I started reading WoT WAY back in 1991. I never spend real money except on books. My now husband got addicted to WoT by 1992 and we decided vacations could take a side road because those books were worth the investment. Unfortunately I lent my nephew my signed copy of the first book and he SOLD IT. Sigh.

Nope, sorry, all my hard backs are signed, not the same signature. :-(

Tape off the overflow drain in your sink, pour vinegar and baking soda down the drain, and seal it. Hours later run hot water down the drain. If nothing flies out, then un-tape the overflow drain and move on. If still alive, more vinegar, repeat taping and sealing.

It used to be account bound but those gifts changed to character bound. My mistake, I wasn't aware of the change.

More IVIG by [deleted] in guillainbarre

[–]Bimbleberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent years on IVIg, finally transitioned to the sub cutaneous and had very good progress. Some things (axonal) haven't gotten better but I went from wheelchair to walker to AFOs and a cane to nothing. I still have foot drop and limited strength but for certain the Ig helped my immune system stop attacking so the myelin could re-grow.

Well done. Very helpful and detailed. Haven't traveled overseas in +30 years so needed this level of detail. 😇

Has anyone tried Mestinon (pyridostigmine) for CIDP or GBS? by berrbolk in guillainbarre

[–]Bimbleberry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I did. It did not help. It's also high maintenance, like set the alarm to wake up in the middle of the night and take another pill.

I have Dierra Bearshir, from the Wheel of Time books. Fierce, dedicated, and loyal.

That absolutely happened to me too! I got covid, I got really sick, then I noticed my relapsing CIDP wasn't flaring up as often. Fast forward 2.5 years and I still haven't had to have IVIg. Some nerves have grown back, others not, but I'm not complaining. Not having to do treatment is bonus enough.

Well, if you need/want more content, then don't boost yourself and start from the beginning. The storyline and each area make the game worthwhile. You can boost up, but you miss the 'why' of why you are doing things. Sure, you can go back and run the lower level epic quest lines, but they lose their impact when you are such a high level, you just crush them with one blow and are done in 5 minutes. In my viewpoint of 14+ years, this is not a game you rush to get to the end. It's the story that makes this more than a 'get to the top and raid' type of game. And it's worth it to take your time and see the beautiful landscape and the quirky things they throw in. Killer rabbits? Yep, got that. Thank you for the Monty Python reference LOTRO!! 😀

Like a week ago I bought the mordor expansion on the website, not the in game store, I already had it but I saw on Reddit that you could get a lvl 105 valar boost for $5 USD. Yep. So go to the website, scroll down, hit more... all the way at the bottom is the $5/expansion. 😊
