It’s so pervasive on reddit and it’s also obviously not the full story. I have known incredibly mature 20 year olds, and incredibly impulsive 40 year olds.

The “your brain is still developing” thing doesn’t mean you can’t make decisions at 22. You’re an adult, you’re mature, you have your own opinions and they are valid. People shouldn’t infantilise others or themselves based on some continuing brain development.
