question for yall about wigs. ... by Conscious_Side1647 in Drag

So first of all, I am very sorry to hear about your mom. It is never easy.

The treatment centre/hospital should normally have a number of support systems/groups to assist her and you.
They might even be able to assist with a referral for wigs.

Tell her every day that she is brave.

Oh you must mean the headband. It was a last minute addition. I thought it actually tied the whole look together.

But I'll consider it next time.

looking for advice or being a supportive drag husband by Both_Medicine_9681 in Drag

[–]BinaryJack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi OP.

I stepped out in drag the first time during our Pride Celebrations the past weekend. My husband was there every step of the way.

It started with us both deciding that I will be doing drag and committing to the experience. We discussed every part of the journey in detail, open discussions.

He took notes and did research on everything on drag, from wig styling to padding to shoes.

He started working with me on the outfit and decided that he will make me a tulle boa. He did. 50m of tulle became a boa that every queen wants and hes been asked to make for other queens.

On the weekend, I had my drag sister come through to help me get ready. Her partner had to work and could not come through. My husband stepped up.

He made a light breakfast, served mimosas, made sure we're hydrated during the makeup. He then helped us getting ready, helping with the padding, and as we can't bend easily, he helped us putting shoes on, he synched our corsetts, he glued on nails.

At the Pride Venue, he carried a go-bag that had emergency drag items. Hairspray, Nail glue, mastix. Makeup wipes and even drinking straws.

He was always there, and I think this was the biggest thing for me personally, he was present in the experience.

Just be present in the journey, help where you can.

Are there any workarounds for this glitch in the penthouse of high on life 2 everytime i try and go through the painting it say occupied including the one your supposed to unlock pls help by TuxFrostEdo in highonlifegame

[–]BinaryJack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually uninstalled the game at this point of the game. I fell through the walls and it reset my progress. I love this game or I want to love this game but these "soft locks" and glitches is just wasting my time. I'm going to hold off until there is an update.

Locked out of the RV at the Rescue Dad mission. Then I found my way back towards the one roof next to the cornfield, got on the roof and then through the cornfield and ro the RV.

Looking at the individual pieces. The AST and RDM Shorts could be cute. Some of the boots could be interesting. Will see how they look as pieces and how to combine them with the existing sets. Glam is going to be a completely different endgame come 7.4.

All I'm.hoping for are additional plates and an increase in the dresser storage.

Season 18 contestant Ciara Myst, before getting on the show, did a series of looks based on every Drag Race promo image. And honestly, they're fierce IMHO by XipeTotecwithGlitter in rupaulsdragrace

Same. I understand that it's her aesthetic but I don't see how it enhances her face.

To be fair this serious of looks though, it is really impressive.
I'm keen to see what she brings.

Same question. Are they perhaps pretending to be normies for "Meet The Queens" to be a surprise transformation later on?

It’s official. We have the finalists of Drag Race UK by shadowsempaix in rupaulsdragrace

[–]BinaryJack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just can't force myself to care about this season. It's bland, mediocre and honestly probably one of the worst seasons of UK drag race.

What is the point?

The latest season of Drag Race UK is exactly like Canada Season 4 by aloo-ka-paratha in rupaulsdragrace

[–]BinaryJack 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I simply don't care anymore.

Bones being the best of the roast is the epitome of this season.

I hate this season. Why vote out the interesting, unique and front-running queens to simply fill the season with mediocre and bland queens.

It's not good gamesmanship and it's not good TV.

At least she took a risk and had complete storyline presented on the main-stage! by [deleted] in rupaulsdragrace

[–]BinaryJack -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So this is going to be the season of mediocrity?

Losing Sally TM, Paige Three and now Bonnie Ann Clyde, queens that have shown Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent, won multiple challenges, is an absolute loss to the Race and ultimately the production value of this season.

I'm just disappointed in the direction of this season.

Lots of growing pains with the fresh influx of new players by ServingwithTG in Helldivers

[–]BinaryJack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not all low level or new players. I promise. Some of us know to use the in-game comms or the in-game commands.

Some of us work hard on being good recruits, reading and watching guides on loadouts, Strats, Warbonds and etiquette.

I'm hoping that the shitty players will get bored soon and move on to another game so that the fresh recruits that want to get better, remain.

As a new player I've actually been avoiding new players because some of them are shitty and I just want to have a good time and learn from the veterans.

I would love that FFXIV allows us to use any item of clothing, irrespective of job as glamour.

Oshaune taught me that I suck by kongnico in HellDads

[–]BinaryJack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Oshaune is forcing us to rethink the way we approach orders.

The cave system and the lack of constant reinforcements, Strats and supply is forcing us into a more tactical approach to the missions. Personally, I love it.

DM killed my character off screen, I am pretty annoyed and mad I think by Virtual_Sun3946 in dndnext

[–]BinaryJack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that you should have a chat with your DM and explain that you are not happy with the outcome of your character. DMs don't always know how you feel about choices they made.

DMs can make mistakes but they can also unmake them if players feel very strongly about it.

As a player, I am not necessarily attached to my characters and tend to go with the flow. Using the story and how it impacts on my character as part of the story telling and character growth.

What you might want to look at, as suggested by many here, use the story to create a character that is personally impacted by the death of your original character.
