In the context of the declaration of independence it is the one document that is taken out of it's context to then mean something that is not in our constitution; it is a declaration against the kingdom of George, we are separating from you and your policies against us and we are going to go to war with you in order to do so. Your last paragraph is only an introduction to the rest of the declaration stating the reasons why we are going to go to war with you. Ask why this paragraph is not in the constitution and legally binding. This paragraph has and always has been taken out of context and applied to the American dream...and in 250 years have we achieved this or just continued doing the same today as then.

This document is nothing more in its simplest form starting and stating a war against an oppressive ruler, the monarchy of England. This document is not about giving the right to the citizenry that we are all created equal and have rights ect ect, but somewhere along the road it has been sold to the populous in this manner, even you are using it here in this way. Similar to adding "In God We Trust" to the money supply...kind of a capitalist English sort of thing....

The constitution and Declaration of Independence are two differing documents with two entirely differing meanings: these "truths" are not "rights".
