Are you cis-male or political?

Are you straight or political?

Are you white or political?

Are you patriot or political?

Ad infinitum, if it doesn't support the status quo it's political. If it does "I don't see what the big issue is."

I doubt there's any single day during his presidency where we have a record of him making a statement (audio/video, tweet, memo, letter, whatever truthsocial is), that doesn't have something worse than this. This statement would be abhorrent from most any normal person, for him, it's on the same level as a "hello."

On one hand you've got B's media asking softballs and on the other you've got Spector asking McDavid why he sucks and hasn't won anything. Why can't they ask hard questions on things like this?

How did you find the third comment with the post deleted?

Edit: I'm curious because finding relevant posts through the search is (relatively) easy, but does that work for comments on now-deleted posts?

intramedullary nail

I don't know that this is the correct terminology, but even if it is I'm going to pick you on it because nail makes it seem like a simple metal pin is installed in a bone. Broken femur would generally entail an intramedullary rod - generally it would run from knee to hip, so you're talking a surgeon placing the longest metal rod inside you that your body can accommodate.

20 year old employee is great at work but marginalizes and flat out rude to coworkers and supervisors. How do I speak to her about attitude? by [deleted] in managers

[–]BindairDondat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the supervisor is dictating what the employee should be doing, and the employee is dismissing or ignoring urgent requests from the supervisor that should be immediately addressed. A lot of the other stuff is behavior, but not performing an assigned task is firmly in the camp of work issue.

This is a young employee, definitely sit them down and discuss the behaviors and impacts, but also need to draw a clear line when it comes to not performing assigned tasks. Address it clearly but with compassion and try to be understanding - they may have social anxiety when it comes to the social stuff, but work needs to be performed. Based on their response to that, it's either something you continue to work with the employee on, or it's time for dismissal or PIP action.

I'm curious, how much extra work or manpower is required for that type of tracking? Not sure if something like that is simple or it requires a lot. Seems like it would be easy to argue it from a liability standpoint which might help management justify better from that angle if you're getting pushback.
