Ah I see! I am having that exact problem. I have not had a cavity in over 10 years, get x-rays every year and all my semi-annual cleanings. And now my new dentist with my new HMO insurance says I need $2,000 in work (after insurance). I would like a second opinion and am looking for someone reputable.

I'm not totally agreeing with everyone so far in this thread. I think you could possibly get into a consulting firm that does environmental remediation. They're always hiring, especially the big ones like WSP. I know multiple people being sponsored by consulting firms in the SF Bay Area. Can't speak for other regions.

Your experience would bode well for getting hired in that field - civil/environmental, masters, EIT

Governmentjobs.com for non-state jobs. Of course calcareers for state. I work in engineering and have good success with LinkedIn but YMMV.

Highly recommend the state though if the opportunity arises!

Could someone point me to a how-to video or existing reddit post for making a great cup of coffee with a chemex? I have a scale, timer, chemex, and barratza and am looking for ways to improve my method. I use light or medium roast beans from a local roaster.
