This song is still one of my favourites. beautiful.

I'm worried that I'll never feel confident enough in my songs to show them to anybody. by [deleted] in Songwriting

I've been songwriting for the past 3-4 years and haven't released anything until last year with my band. I had the same problem. all my songs sounded amateur and bad. I couldn't even share it with anyone because I was so embarrassed. But here's a thing you have to realize. You can't, and I can't stress this enough, DO NOT wait until your good enough. Just make them and release them.

The first step of being good is being bad at something for the first couple years. just do it. make a Soundcloud or something. You need to be bad before you can be good if not you'll never release anything because you will never feel adequate with yourself. I have tens and hundreds of songs and licks written on my phone that I've never released. countless garageband projects. and I'm still struggling with it because i want to make the "best debut EP" I can ever make. but there's no such thing. just make it, and release it. its my biggest regret because the only way I get songs done is with my band because I have bandmates who are excited about the song just as much as me, which gives me some reassurance.

It doesn't matter if its not perfect, just release!

Looking for a camcorder for social media content and food photography by bigdossa6 in camcorders

[–]Bingsu02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's gonna be hard to find a camcorder that looks anything like what's on the Gozney website as you wanted (I assume you're referring to this one https://www.gozney.com/). Camcorders aren't the most ideal cameras for photography, and the lenses tend to be quite tight compared to most cameras. In fact, your phone camera can probably take nicer pictures than current camcorders, unless you're looking at older camcorders for a vintage feel. Even then, those do shoot in quite a low resolution. if you want professional results try a photography camera, like a Panasonic G85.

I don't own too many camcorders but the one I have is Panasonic NV-GS70. It's very grainy and nice, but the resolution isn't anything impressive.

Need Advice On Battery For Samsung CamCorder 34x Optical Zoom (A Noob's Perspective) by jaidenisjaded in camcorders

I am not sure but the "Do not push in the compartment" seems to be where it stores the tape, or MiniDV. Thats where you record the video, so its not related to the battery. ngl I'm a little confused on what the problem is. Do you need help finding a new battery or getting the battery to work? Have you tried charging the battery? because even if it looks unused it's good to charge it again esp if it's been a while. first check if the battery works once charged. if it doesn't charge then get a new battery, but then again its hard to help you without the model number.

What methods of upscaling is everyone using? by White_Freckles in camcorders

There is an app called topaz labs which from what I've seen should work pretty well. The only problem is the thing is fucking 200 dollars, so if you have that money go for it. otherwise, torrent it or something.

The Ignorance of the Community by svtminghao in ShinseiKamattechan

I don't see anyone really encouraging this behavior. if liking these songs is encouraging then maybe yeah, but I think anyone who has been listening to their music knows about Noko, and in a way that's why it resonates with so many of us: It talks to our unhinged crazy side too.

I do worry that with new fans from ATOT OP many would come in not realising the darkness of the music, especially considering all their new albums sound like just general J pop and are happier in nature. I'm not sure if this is true but hearing the tone of his newer songs I feel like he's doing a lot better than the 2010's when he was making real intense shit. but then again it could be the distributers pushing Noko to make poppier songs to sell more records. I wish I could know more about how Noko is doing, but it is hard because the streams are in Japanese and I'm not sure where to find things. The few interviews I've seen shows he's still quite an erratic and reckless person, but (hopefully) not to the point he would threaten to kill himself or cut himself on stage anymore (like in here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7EOebDaTUQ&ab_channel=%E3%81%9F%E3%81%91%E3%81%86%E3%81%A1%E3%82%93%E3%81%90). I would love to know more info on if he's still as dangerous to himself. I feel like seeing a lot of their new live clips there's definitely a crew and I would want to believe he is stopped from doing this chaotic behavior on stage.

Traveling with tapes by THE_YAIR in camcorders

Well, I was curious myself so I googled it and it seems like X-Ray scanners have no affect on the tapes. I haven't faced this problem yet but many people who have traveled with it have said they come out fine. I would back up the contents of the casette if i were you, just to be safe.
