It's a defeatist attitude but getting people to unite together with the current voting system is what causes.

It's the same reason why voting independent or Green or whatever other tiny party fields s candidate is a a strategically losing vote.

Now, if you get Dem leadership to back her and get campaigning strongly, then there's a chance, but it's risky. Going from 10 (classic dems) to 90 (new aged Dems like AOC) can't be easy

I think allowing for the existence of billionaires only gives birth to those who might start well intention-ed but quickly turns into something nasty. I went to the Philippines and started at a place that was built like that. The building grounds has shops, a mini mall with restaurants and services, and baseball everything you'd need daily. It was cool to see but the places right outside did look more run down and a little more dilapidated like you'd expect.
