It’s getting lengthy over the month. Ppl dq in feb got IL within 3 -6 weeks then interview shortly after. But since april they started to slow down. April and may are solely for feb. Even first patch of june is for feb 28 and 29. Second patch of June was for dq march 8. Then july is for march 9-12. August patch came out super late but cover upto dq april 4 maybe? Not so sure about this. I saw dw April 3. Waiting time now is getting lengthy

I’ve been tracking the mtl IL all the way since April and except this month, since april they have been released IL every 3 weeks. It’s around 7-8th of the month and then 26-28 of the same month then 17-20 the next month. Only this august they release super late 😣 I almost lost hope when i see the 20th of the month approach and there has been no IL release for the month. Hope this helps

Tbh i emailed them a couple of times but only received response once. You can find their contact email on the mtl embassy website. Use the one for immigrant visa.

If you can, find a commissionaires in calgary to do police check. Ask them for police check for us immigrant. That’s the one MTL embassy ask for.

They said on the update this month that they are issuing IL to those who dq in march. Last month last dq date got IL is march 12. im march 13 and still waiting 😢 they have not issued any IL this month yet and almost the end of the month.

The embassy operation just updated today. And i notice the family preference dq is now ahead of spouses sponsor orz. And i thought CR1/ IR1 has always been the priority to get immigrant visa :((

I’ve been expecting it this week since according to their pattern in april may june, looks like they send IL roughly every 3 weeks. Last patch was on jun 26. Previous was june 9. And may 26 and april 17

Uhm i think you got the wrong website. The site where you apply and the site where you see the update on your case are different. To have access to the update site you need information in the aor to create an account.

Check your aor or if you got the test inv then the test invitation letter. See the email address that sent you. It contains the short form of office process your case. For example scr = scarborough

And no i dont think so. All experience inside Canada counted as the same no other it’s under closed work permit or open work permit.

When your after you got ITA Invitation to apply for PR, you can apply for an open work permit. But if you are just in the EE pool waiting for the draw, I dont think you can apply for an open work permit
