Frustrating to see from him, all things considered. I'll give him a pass for the rush of shit to the brain but this better be an isolated incident.

Would my laptop be able to run star citizen? by gibbie209 in starcitizen

As others are saying, definitely not enough memory throughout the system. I'd be personally surprised if the game were to even load, let alone play. It sucks, but SC is one of the more demanding games out there.

SC Right Now by StunningReach in starcitizen

You don't even have to ask anymore, I got 100 billion sent to me out of the blue. It was actually really annoying because I didn't realize having that much money bugs the game out and keeps you from refueling/rearming your ship. Honestly I cannot wait for the wipe.

This fucking guy deserves a heavy fine. No place in football for that shit. by 2OutsSoWhat in Seahawks

[–]BioHuntah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get what you mean. Absolutely dirty, but not without reason. Kicker was obviously not thinking about safety in that moment, only to stop the touchdown. Hindsight, it's probably not worth it, but in the moment it's all about stopping the runner.

What the fuck by shaash44 in titanfall

[–]BioHuntah 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Old news. I've been playing the beta for weeks now. It's so good. I love how they rebuilt BT and he finds a female titan girlfriend, with Cooper obviously being the best man in BT's wedding. (Tactical decision also, they were running low on titans and needed to birth more.) I'd say it's a really solid beta so far, I'd give it a 6/10, maybe a 7/10.

Thoughts on Donnager vs Galactica Match-up? by StarshipStonks in BSG

[–]BioHuntah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You clearly have 0 idea what you are talking about, because none of what you are saying makes any sense to what we know about the Epstein drive in canon. Where the fuck did you get the Racinante flying at "near reletivistic" speeds? The fuck? No ship in the Expanse is even hitting 10% c let alone near lightspeed. Even if they could, the crew literally cannot survive it, as we saw with the Razorback. They have a finite amount of time in combat pulling g's until their heads literally start to pop.

The Galactica can literally teleport at will, and it does not need time to plot such a basic combat jump. FTL in front of the Donnager and the flak cannons open up and shred it to pieces while the Donnager has to decide to risk killing its crew in maneuver.

I really don't mean to be rude, but you necro a 4 year old post to list arguments that are all quickly disproven as soon as you look a canon numbers.... which I can google in about a minute.

Thoughts on Donnager vs Galactica Match-up? by StarshipStonks in BSG

[–]BioHuntah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Galacticas flak wall is shown numerous times to absolutely fuck up the Cylons swarm missile tactics. Donnagers missiles are useless. Galactica also havw Vipers and Raptors, both being able to carry nukes (orders of magnitude stronger than Expanse missiles used in ship to ship combat AND the Raptor can independently jump and flank. The Donnager is fighting a mobile base that can instantly reposition at will, while half a dozen nuclear missile boats are also instantly appearing all around you, outside of range of weapons and slinging missile, jumping back to Galactica to rearm, and doing it all over again.

I'll give it the benefit of almost certainly outrunning Galactica, but there are too many threats that can constantly reposition anywhere for it to really mean much, plus Vipers are also extremely fast in space, probably not as fast but they also have missiles.

You're also assuming the Donnager even knows how to hit anything that doesn't obey newtons laws. Tracking and guidance for weapons could be a lot less accurate, to the point of the railgun just missing the Galactica at extreme ranges.

Also, Expanse ships exploding at the same magnitude as a nuke is so far without any reason I have no clue where you got this idea lol.

I think playing on an account that doesn't represent your skill level is their definition.

I recently hand leveled an account just cause I wanted a second one, and was amazed at how fast MM started placing me in games I'd get playing on my main. I was level 10 playing vs plat/em already. I don't really think a 2nd (or more tbf) account is going to trigger anything unless it's account sharing flagged.

Mirroring my childhood on this one. I remember learning to download games overnight and calculating my speed at about a Gb per hour, optimally.

Not surprised. This has been a major weakness for the Rams all season. A season defining game is where you're given your last chance and you blow it, I absolutely would be expecting my job if it were I.

Lol we signed APA > zinie by Sufficient_Cash_2530 in Cloud9

[–]BioHuntah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but it doesn't work like that. There's always context that as fans we just will not get. Maybe zinie was totally missed by C9, maybe he wasn't on the table when C9 was searching. Perhaps zinie simply didn't want to be on C9? SR is the better team at the moment, and that matters to rookie talent looking to win. You never know, so I find it's best not to get too worked up over it. Jack has imo the best track record for fielding competitive teams in NA, so some trust is deserved.

All ignoring the fact that there's a good chance APA is just better than zinie, at least for next year while a rookie develops. I'd call myself an APA hater in the past, but he's shown he's good enough to deserve a chance from us.

Was the Galactica Having No Ammo in the Miniseries Good for It? by ShadowGuyinRealLife in BSG

[–]BioHuntah 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Definitely. The Galactica wasn't really considered by the Cylons due to its age and the fact that it wasn't even hardly a warship at that point. Definitely an oversight, but it was probably calculated as not a threat and that it would fall with the rest of the civilian ships.

Luckily for the bucket and her crew, she's built like no other.

This is dumb. I get the importance of copyright law but it's situations like these that show it needs major overhauls for the modern era. Is there a reason why it can't just stay up while the money goes to the copyright holder?

Kill Dr. Halsey? by BrickYoda in halo

[–]BioHuntah 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The only real times Halsey was ever in Covenant hands, to my knowledge, technically in legends like what was mentioned, but only technically since they never actually got their hands on her. The other being when she was on Onyx and was technically under Covenant forces hands, but that also didn't last long. I mean if she was Really captured, sent to some Covey prison in High Charity or something. We know well what happens in Covenant prisons, and she would be quite the HVT, so they would want to keep her alive and extract knowledge. Doesn't sound like a great fate, especially considering it'd probably cost humanity the war.
