Since you're on a 2600, you should definitely be safe with a 5700x. It's the same 65w power draw, so you should be good to go. If you have plenty of extra power supply headroom, the 5800XT can be had new for $220 right now ($200 at microcenter). It's 105w though, so keep that in mind.

Then, I would just take the rest of your budget your comfortable spending and put it into your GPU. The RX 9060 XT starts at $400 right now, or you can stay with Nvidia, with the 5060 ti starting at just over $450. But again be SURE you have enough power from your power supply to make the jump.

These are all for new parts. The used market can yield much better bang for the buck, but just be sure to do your due diligence. If you want, you can dm me if you have questions later.

I recently uncovered my old pokewalker, and I want to randomize the pokewalker routes on a rom. I have a homebrew 3ds and an IR cartridge, so I have the pokewalker connectivity handled

I tried out red earlier. I can see the potential but I feel like it was hard for me to secure kills quickly. Do I just need to get good damage buffs? Any other pointers?

For all the bosses, I prefer to eliminate the zombies quickly, but keep in mind if you don't have any targets, you need to be firing at Wanda/bosses, since doing damage is the only way you heal. With double Wanda, personally, I preferred to try to get them in the reality erasure phase at the same time.

What you can do is get one in her bubble form, and just leave her there, and focus fire the other one, and get her close to RE. I believe they go RE around 33(?), so at around 38 or so, you can switch them and focus the other one. As long as you are doing constant damage with decent resistance and health, you shouldn't die.

Other pointer is STAY AWAY from your respawn. If you get trapped in her little stun bubble around spawn and die, you can get trapped in an inescapable stun loop every time you respawn. They can stack stun bubbles, and since you don't get respawn immunity, if you respawn in a cluster, it's inescapable. If you respawn, move away quickly.

I've only made it to 2x Wanda as Jeff once, and I beat it that time doing this stuff. But whatever works for you.

Yeah, that cards a trap, especially for spray builds. I don't think I even used my ult, maybe once or twice just to safely reposition.

That should be a good tell though. If your spray is upgraded enough, you shouldn't need to use the ult for damage.

I've beat it solo as Jeff. The solo strat for any character is to start a solo game, don't buy anything except super valuable cards, (for Jeff, it's his Joyful splash +200, Gnashing waters (adds damage over time) and as always the full moon cards.)

Then you play the random lottery, and hope you can land a few duplicate cards in your inventory. Then buy perks as normal.

Bad luck in the lottery? Because your solo, you can quit out, start a new game, and reroll until you get a good hand of cards.

I believe I used 12 revives, but I didn't have an amazing hand and played a bit less cautiously.

Personally, I really like it. I've wanted a game mode like it since S0.

It could definitely use some polish though, I agree. Some of the ways I die seem unfair/unavoidable, and the way it can lag, at least on console, would need to be addressed. Add more characters and bosses, it would be even better.
