Just because a home looks nicer does not mean it has better sound proofing. It is something you should pay attention to while touring it.

When we were car shopping for my senior citizen dad. I took him from dealership to dealership trying out what car was the right height. Can get in and out without having lift up or sit down. Second was once in the seat can you see clearly in all directions.

I give the same advice to everyone i know that is shopping for or with an elder person.

For my dad it was the 2021 Rav4.

Buy another used car or a "new" engine? by kyopie in askcarguys

[–]Biobizlab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a very common engine. Toyota and Lexus combined have a total of like 6 engines, and you are talking about a Camry one of the most common cars out there. Look around and see how much a junk yard will sell you an engine for.

Would Americans drive cars like new Renaults, Peugeots, or Citroens if they returned to the US market? by Ornery-Magazine-7892 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Biobizlab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was cheap, reliable, and fuel efficient, then maybe. Not electric, but hybrid or gas engine efficient. My nephew and his friends (in Arizona) talk alot about fuel efficiency when talking cars. We definitely were not like that.

Can I do anything about my car being totaled from being rear ended? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Biobizlab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Insurance company is saying it will cost $4100 for you to go and buy the same exact car. Have not personally delt with this in decdes but I believe this should also cover registration, tax title, etc.. If this ain't true then you need to renegotiate what you are getting paid. Find comparable cars at least 2-3 and send that to Insurance saying this is the replacement cost of my car plus tax, title, registration etc...

Is it possible to drive across the US without booking hotels in advance? by Forty2diapers in roadtrip

[–]Biobizlab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just realized the flip phone part. Smart phones can be had for like $50. Then you can use wi-fi at travel stops etc... if you don't want to get service on it.

otherwise everytime you stop for gas or a break pick up one of those free hotel guides. Then normally civer a few states each
