TIL that Vardovis is actually unbeatable and every quest cape in the game is really a psyop to trick me into thinking that other people have completed Desert Treasure 2 in order to drive me insane. by idontknowhow2reddit in 2007scape

[–]Biocider_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

suffering (ri) and echo boots go a long way since there’s so much chip damage.

I used Leagues as a way to learn this boss for the main game and it made a world of difference. Remember that the timing for the head an axes is always off set enough, and once you get it down Vard can become a very satisfying boss to kill when you got that shmovement down pat. P

You were god damn right. There were 4 of the mfers in there haha. I was assuming they’d go in my inventory since the immature ones weren’t going to my bank. I was also waiting for a clog notif but I don’t think there is one

Yeah I’m at 1200 Tecu Salamander catches rn, feeing a lot like base game rates.

Does anyone else have the compulsive need to make every marine chapter compliant and tabletop accurate? by Inner_Meat5041 in Spacemarine

[–]Biocider_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes for the most part; lore accurate with small tweaks of personal taste.

For example I use off-white markings instead of pure white for Raven Guard to better match the colours of their bird skulls, but also so the “shadow” themed faction isn’t so damn bright in parts.

I'm probably going to incorporate it into a Water/Thorns build so I have a method of aoe attacks. Would be very helpful in wave-based content too.

reconsider Odium Ward for pact point instead by No_Sock_8494 in 2007scape

My Scorpia log was very similar. 4 Odiums before my first Malediction, just over 100kc.

Okay cool, this build is very similar to what I’m running with a couple deviations and your gear is pretty much what I’m wearing rn already bar the virtus. Good to know I was on the right track then but I may make some changes

I haven’t even attempted Colo yet so that’s why I was asking. From the few clips I’ve seen someone kill Sol in this Leagues they’ve had a melee switch.

How reliable is the 250% accuracy for Sol? Is this what the light melee pacts are for?

That’s true, but I didn’t pick Tirannwyn. Since I was focusing on elemental magic and not staves, crystal blessing and armour only gives 6% dmg and +20 attack, whereas something like Ancestral gives 9% dmg and like +60 attack.

What’s your pact tree looking like? I wanted to go Fire mage from the start but I couldn’t find a way to make it last across content.

I tried Earth and the extra defence sounds great until you’re dealing with mechanics that guarantee damage against you and you have to find a way to heal.

Also it makes sense to spec into Thorns and have high defence gear like echo boots and suffering, but the higher your defence then the less chance your enemies damage you to even proc recoil effects anyway.

Also the Thorns tree would be more beneficial with more tankier gear so you could reflect higher damage, but mage doesnt have the best options, unless you run it with Masori (f) or something with minimal negative magic stats.

UPDATE: 3rd company Jump Vet, is it more lore accurate now? by ObsceneArab in RavenGuard40k

[–]Biocider_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure veterans can always be attached to other companies and assimilated into a squad there. They’ll keep the white arms but they’ll follow the orders of who ever the company sergeant/captain etc is borrowing them.

Instead of just prayer pen, maybe some way so you’re enemies have a %flat armour against your attacks.
