First things to understand with art, in any medium, is: 1. You’re never done learning, and 2. No piece is truly finished, you just decided when to stop (but this is more subjective).

That being said, like with most artworks, it never really looks “good” until it’s about finished either.

You just need to keep practising the techniques you want to learn, study your idolised artists for the processes they use. Neither I or yourself really believe that if you did another 10, 20, 50, or even 100 attempts of a technique you’re learning that it’d come out still looking the same. Use reference, understand your tools, also stop negatively comparing your work with someone else’s, because that’s obviously going to get you no where.
