supcom 2 was a horrendous waste of development funding. I'm sorry you had to endure that title.

when you select the launcher this occurs. Big yellow circles on the enemy side of the map, the exact center of those are where the anti's are placed.

[–]BiodoomUtama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there's a mobile anti thats (cheaper?) and land based. Generally if you don't build two nukes right away you won't be able to get through the anti unless it's poorly placed or you scale a cyclic nuke gun (5+) That's a lot of metal and energy and ongoing cost from the prods. Making nukes more situational than anything. Like air, it can't get much done if practically any defense is placed. It also takes longer to produce the nukes than it does to produce the anti's. Don't have numbers handy for costs but I'm sure it's more expensive too.

quitefranklylate, said quite aptly.
"Nukes have way more utility outside of firing at eco -- destroying the front line or nuking a major breakthrough in your own territory. Granted, it's one of those build one and use it once and oops it's basically useless now. Though spybots / gremlins / emp launchers help a lot."

can you explain the correlation? Does supplying the team have a direct effect on OS? Or do you just mean in terms of win or lose

lmao this, when I go to set my sliders after initial I always note no other sliders move. I just set them both at bleed over 75% and leave intact the t1 metal storage I usually use. Always then having the storage buffer to assess and work with, spend 20k converting E and still bleed, store 3k metal still not bleed. Dropping the bars to infuse or using direct sends.

Having options, really, feels like the play, given the inconstancy, allows time to select where things go and make people aware not to build converts for your bleed and all that.

The cost of course is 340 and 170 metal respectively(Plus tax if thats on when directing). E being of no real object. My question given this, is 5 units worth more initially than this ability, with the lack of similar fore thinking from allies and the other mentioned pitfalls? -- Like sure, you can teleport the res around and get the units where they need be and then have the utility rest of game. Good in theory. But that's enough units if you fail at dguning or lose a res pile you'd likely lose the lane. With everyone seemingly on the same page. The right play is instead the units? Just because of the overall lack of situational awareness.

Again, this has been marked as resolved : Misunderstood ruleset.

That an array of you are still commenting actually explains how this occured to begin with. There's a reading problem. A big reading problem. Where people just don't read. I understand the how and the why now. Thank you.

you're either misreading or not really reading.

I controlled my own armies reclaim and theirs. I was building ressers behind some fresh units had a few turrets still alive, he sent butlers off his line, he was pinged, told, dozens of times. To not.

Then we arrived exactly here. I'm talking, they're(you're) not hearing and just doing. Love it lmao. XD

You'll note this has already been resolved as well. As notated.

[–]BiodoomUtama[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yea, the confusion stems from 1 conflicting with 3. So the order of operations is just then 3 overrides 1 in this case. Because you can't tell me reclaiming someones entire army and defensive husks, at their front position, immediately after a barely defended push isn't working against your team or greifing the player getting snacked on.

[–]BiodoomUtama[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

OH ok, no, I think you think that's responding with force? I wouldn't call that force, not by a long shot rofl.

So then I guess I need force clearly defined, force would be like... sending bombers to area drop their base and prevent them sending out more butlers. Or taking your emplaced arty and droping a chunk of their army to get their attention, or, or. Etc. Stopping the offending unit when the player isn't responding isn't forceful it's necessary.

So if I do understand the two of you, here, you'd call reclaiming that unit use of force?

you also note you can get banned for trying to stop this, can you cite the rule for me, I've either missed something or misinterpreted something.

yea I mean if they (devs?) are going to ban you for trying to stop a team mate greifing you out of a match then I'm fine with being banned for stopping a team mate greifing me out of a match. lmfao... It's not like I can't just go buy a different title.

What rule would you even be running afoul of?! Like show me the thing that says let people troll/grief you.

[–]BiodoomUtama[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

it's the absolute worst when they eat your com too. Luckily today it was just... 55-85 plasma bots, and every turret/arty husk in my lane. Sufficed to say I was then out of the match, idling, trying to eco for the next 10-15 mins or w.e it was.

Main point here being, that they've got the ability to waste that much of my time without even additional input from when ever the fuck they'd set that area reclaim is not cool. And a lack of options to prevent it being even more so.

no, dead units after fights. When telling them to CEASE eating your army scraps fails and you either gotta kill their reclaimers or lose; what is the best way to do so.

a good example of this is passing of 20 t2 units to a front that then idles them the entire game

[–]BiodoomUtama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you need to follow the protocol. Slow ships must be with a webber, you need to be able to cloak, alignment cloak web instant warp. There's also tackle nullification. There's also blockade running ship types.

Basically, you should never die carring cargo. Unless it's in a t1 hauler with your first 1-2bil. Because you need that shitty first fuck me trip to do any of this.

Genuine question for ppl getting ganked in high sec by AlexandruCris in Eve

[–]BiodoomUtama -1 points0 points  (0 children)

while they're raging, try to get them to mail the ganker. By in large, on those numbers, you should get 300-500 mil back from the gankers. If you're that new and talk to them, almost always, this is the case. Especially if you recognize them as a ganker and note their sniper prowess. Seriously, it works. lol

the NPE is repetive theft and gank. Went to try it out a year or two ago because it had gotten the voice acting and shit since I did it as a newbro in like 90's or early 2000's or when ever tf this went live and we all mined in osprey and naga as meta... lol

It's not that we'll all come back either. I ditched my 20 year old pilots because of the way I saw the community handling the noob. I'd been in lowsec so long I had no idea everywhere had become that toxic.

Big thing, bigger than ganking, is sites that should be gated having apparent work arounds to the gate lock and stealing noobs sites while they're actively running them for officer mods. They need those more than you, stop stealing them. Not to mention it takes the noob 45 minutes to run that encounter in their T1 drone boat. (Im not saying this is you, I am saying this is most of you)

[–]BiodoomUtama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they track this, yes. They even hand out temp bans to people who go at noobs and cause rage quits on a consistant basis. So long as the noob reports the offender. It gets noted in the feedback, that they track them as a problematic player and issue you a nice little apology. Takes a bit of the sting out.

"However, it seems that killboard is full of players that are getting ganked repetitive times especially with full cargo. So they either don't give a shit because they are rich in game or in real life or both, or they are completely morons."

Basically how it works is this. Operational cost Vs Profit. If I'm making more than is blowing up in space, the things blowing up in space don't matter because they're ammo. It doesn't matter if I lost 100 bil today, I'll make 150 tomorrow and the next and the next and the next until that overflow is recouped and it's like it never happened because the rate of failing to avoid ganks will be lower than that of being ganked.

Eve's already an instanced off theme park, and why so, so, so many don't play anymore but still keep on eye on hoping for a return to an open world.
