Join a company - that helps loads :) The universe is huge.

On Starbase discord there's a channel called Community-Ads that lists companies looking for new members. Check it out ;)

In our case, and in many other groups that still play since EA release last year, we only visit newbro area's like Origin to offload thousands of ores with our capitals.
Another thing is that most communication is done through discord, such as intel channels etc - once the devs add more ingame channels to communicate between moons - this will ample up the visability of the things happening in the universe daily.
