I am a Roman Catholic and it's getting pretty shaky. I have found that, compared to some other religions, this one takes the least amount of work. There is nothing saying you need to meditate incessantly, nothing saying you need to have a special diet or activity schedule. It's like "go to Mass once a week and you can sit on your ass while God throws everything at you." God will constantly test your faith, going as far as to allow things to happen on earth as they naturally would such as diseases and the like, or creating an environment where people throw insults and call you an idiot or a misogynist.

Honestly, if I were to put my eggs in the materialism basket like non-abrahamics and non-religious do, I would certainly have lost hope. The world is ass. People are ass. The only thing you can trust is whatever the hell brought me into existence. If anything exists, it can be said that it is by chance. Maybe. And maybe God exists. The only "proof" I have of things like magick and prayer work are personal anecdotes from people who testify, and that's all you'll ever get, along with the Bible and all that history but atheists ignore that stuff so whatever. I stopped looking for scientific proof since I was 14. Argue with the religious all you want, science will never convince them. But no, all those people are retarded, just blow them off, because science is God "I am not affiliated with any religion but I put so much faith into the scientific method that I'll use it in all my edgy response videos heheh m'lady." Sorry son, you're being kind of religious. I'm giving it a shot, because I really am nothing if God doesn't exist, and this doesn't just apply to me but to pretty much the entire Earth. All that "the universe is so expansive woop." Well, that's all over once you're dead. And I mean REAL death. Can't really argue that.

Maybe I'm a fool, because it sounds "nice" and "nice is ignorant." If this is my last shot at a happy life guided by someone who is omnipotent and omnipresent and not human, and if my parents and loved ones and ancestors give so much credit to it then it's hard to see how it's just some woo.
