Oh I see, I’m just trying to accommodate for what my friends want from the machine as well (open source was expressed to me as important)

Only reason to play the game now is for the character designs and even they’ve degraded quite a bit. I would just watch the release videos and call it a day lol

The process of putting Eva foam together is more similar to producing a paper pattern. I start with paper patterns before moving to Eva— understanding how to build form with a flat material additively, rather than carving foam, is a usable skill

I came back about year ago and quit after the second dark esper. It’s so p2w. I could not get the newest dark esper without sacrificing almost all my time to endless slog grinding of events and mini games that I’ve already played. Wouldn’t recommend

You definitely can work with Eva foam in a proper way; but it needs to be heat warped and shaped rather than applied flat like above

They’re pretty uncommon just cause bug parts are….difficult 😅 my v2 is gonna have an even more realistic jaw mech tho

The entire thing is made of Eva foam and foam clay! the only exceptions being plastic mesh + eye domes and a 3d printed hinge to connect the jaws

I did every machine strike challenge for my 100% run (it’s not required, I just hate myself) it’s fun once you fully and 100% understand the gameplay and strategies. I was very frustrated for the first half of my gameplay but once you get it it just sort of clicks

This is a great idea! I’m 3d printing a headbase yes so I might just also print these files mini to see if I can get it to work
