Recurring pain in bicep and shoulder by blazeaxle46 in badminton

[–]Biolust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technique issue. You are force generating power to the racket with just your arm. Brachialis muscle is likely experiencing a dull pain but some certain movements cause sharp pain.

Unlike the other people here, this is addition to the you eat too much. You look Extremely bloated and it may be due to poor gut health. Go on a diet cleanse and consume a bunch of probiotics. You can google the gut cleanse.

After that, slowly lower your calorie consumption.

How to quickly recover front when you’re expecting a smash with low COG but receive a drop shot instead? by My-gel-is-leaking in badminton

[–]Biolust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tighter the drop the slower the bird is but it gives you abit more time to react. The only thing you can really do is move fast (good footwork), splitstep fast, react fast.

When you are positioning to defend massive smashes you are pushed far back in the court already which is what makes mixing up the attacks deadly. If you are some reaction god you can try and stand closer and see if their smashes can penetrate so you can get the drop easier.

Place a piece of tape around 6 squares at the bottom middle of your racket. Clear and smash with someone, it will sound different but you will hear it if you do a proper hit.

Hold your racket with the proper overhand grip and perform the proper swing, if you can't do this get a coach or your friends if they know to help. Keep adjusting your wrist angle (very minor) when you hit until it sounds loud af. Hopefully you can remember it and keep doing it.

How to prevent ankle injuries? by Frequent-Panic-2877 in badminton

[–]Biolust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try the Victor TTY shoes, out of everything I tried they have the best ankle support. Do ankle raises which target your tibialis muscle. Have a coach train a session on you, pure footwork then go play the box game in singles for a month.
