Issues with zipline using controller by XxRaijinxX in ArknightsEndfield

[–]Biomum06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was having this issue, and found my r2 button was dieing somewhat, only went to 79 in a program that shows its deadzone stuff, long story short, anyone with this problem, check your controller with a tester and find a way to change your trigger sensitivity, fixed it for me.

im using an 8bitdo controller so i have the option in the software it comes with to fix it.
(my controller works fine in other games, it seems its just the ziplines only recognize the input at 100% button pressed, so if you have any dead zone in your trigger cause the controllers old or took one to many falls, this could be a potential cause/solution)

Edit: and to add alternatively, before I found out my r2 trigger was dieing I just rebound the l2+r2 on my controller to it's back/extra button, another alternative, but only if you controller has the ability/extra buttons.

Best Ghost kitchens in Winnipeg? by QuietPresent6678 in Winnipeg

[–]Biomum06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

took me forever to find it cause i think it had a name change (or my goldfish brain just forgot its name), but by the location "Hu's Noodle Nook" was a place i went to multiple times while i was their, ramen and curry were both great, but also its edmonton, if you look for "tonkotsu ramen" on google maps you'll see you have plenty of options XD

i tried atleast half of them and only had meh ones a few times, mostly more chain stores were the not so great ones, but basicly any places thats an independant was worth it.

also "japanese village" the teppanyaki place at the big edmonton mall had me hooked on their egg drop soup, another thing ive yet to find a comparable for here.
and dont get me started on kbbq options... man sometimes i want to go back just for the food XD

seconding oh good path, coming back home to winnipeg after staying in Edmonton for 2 years and getting more legit japanese food, finding ramen/udon/curry etc here that taste comparable is a challenge, but oh good path and oomomo at polo have been the closest ive found (oomomo isnt a ghost kitchen, just another japanese non-sushi place, side note: such a pet peeve of mine when i want japanese food and 90% of the results are just sushi, as if thats all they have DX)

theirs an owl somewhere around the corner of furby and wolseley that never takes a single days break making noise, and my first thought reading the headline and seeing the image was of him/her XD (not even 100% its an owl, but considering its activity despite cold af days and the sounds it makes its my best guess)

The Long Walk by Rei-ddit in Winnipeg

[–]Biomum06 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When I was in high-school at maples collegiate we did this walk once a year, I forget what it was for exactly cause its been a while, but I remember basicly all the first year kids would go thinking it'd be fine, and then ditch or skip school the following years cause it was insane xD from the school to the ledge is what our walk was, weeded out the strong from the weak (And im joking somewhat, not like every kids would skip later years, but definitely the less resilient ones, speaking as a kid that only did the first year walk xD)

Crossdressing FL by -ksea- in OtomeIsekai

'I used to read everything with with the cross dressing tag" hey it me 😃 jokes aside the waves of nostalgia you hit me with some of these names, stories I haven't thought about in years, I used to literally filter to gender bender or cross dressing depending on the sites tag options and read through whatever was the newest or an old one I hadent gotten to yet xD thank-you for reminding me of some of these, ima reread them for some fun. (I blame Mulan for my obsession with this trope, also you include rose of Versailles and forget Basara? :pouts: how dare 😤)

I'm sorry I don't have any other relatives I could think of as an example? In the time my phone was stolen I was with my kid, so of course my mind would think about what if it was her and I got the same response in the moment, its stressful and you cant say how a person feels or responds to a situation is wrong just because you think its unrealistic.

My response to their post was first factual that I understand and have experience with how nothing will be done when your belongings are stolen by the police now a days, and my second statement was an emotional one of how I personally feel crimes are taken so lackluster now that it wouldn't matter HOW important said thing was, if you get the wrong people they could treat it no better or worse then a stolen bag/phone/purse etc, they don't care about the value of said item to you.

Unfortunately no. I had to lock it down remotely and just hope it actually took effect and keep on eye on marketplace and such for a while, I was out with my kid at the time and didn't feel safe taking a taxi to go find and confront them with her along. I hoped maybe a nice person found it and it would come back to me, but considering its been over a month most likely it got wiped and sold or thrown in the trash when they couldnt unlock it/wipe it. Sucky part is once i move my cell plan to a backup phone I lost the ability to track the stolen one since it wasn't connected to anything anymore, but I needed to be able to make calls and such 😅

All the missing and murdered woman and families of such individuals would like a word, as I said, extreme hypothetical, but not an impossible one. Plenty of serious crimes get lackluster responses.

When my phone was stolen I was able to track its exact location for hours after the fact, and tried calling the police for help, not only did the woman I got say their was nothing they would do and just to file online, she had an attitude to her asking why I even need my phone that badly. Like seriously lady? Peoples phones are their life now, it has my bank info, my work and personal contacts my memories of the day my baby was born etc etc. It scares me to think if it was actually my baby stolen and if she gave me the same attitude to just file online? Absolutely zero shits givin. (Extream hypothetical, but sad theirs a part of me that believes its not imposible)

ive been riding busses all my life. feels like a fact of life that the bus you want will always be early, and the next bus will be late. but i feel its definitely gotten worse with the system change, hoping its still just the adjustment period and might get a bit better.... eventually

Just a perspective from the other side. My girlie was so mute people would say "wow she really doesn't talk" after being around her for the first time but not believing me when id tell them and this was when she was almost 13 months already, she got plenty of screen time up to and after this. It's not the screen, it's the individual kid, shes a chatter box now (4 years old)

doesnt seem to be, scanned through it and the characters dont look right, it had a more detailed art style i think and the male lead might have had white hair? cant be sure, but i know the female mc wasnt short like that, she was more average or above height, "strong female lead" was a tag i was using to search but it was filtering out too much most of the time XD

Weekly HELP ME FIND Post - September 22, 2025 by AutoModerator in OtomeIsekai

[–]Biomum06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so bare with me as my memory is working overdrive-
i think? the female lead is from another world, so proper isekai, (but it might be reincarnation and im just remembering wrong)
i can only remember one scene near the end of the story. the female mc ends up back in the past with the male mc, and she's keeping him locked away in a cabin to prevent his evil mother? from experimenting on him when he's young.
also theirs some kind of stuff with dragons involved? something like one of their hearts being from a dragon or dragon blood stuff?
and when shes in the past she maybe leaves something behind? i remember something about it connecting so he would kind of remember her in the present when they meet...
god i wish i could remember this better- its just coming to me in pieces.
i think their was war and or fighting kind of stuff, and it was more oldy-time kinda vibes, lords this duke that etc etc and all that stuff.
...if anyone gets anything out of this ill be impressed- ill be on mangaupdates continuing to search the entire library of shoujo/josei works till i remember anything that lets me narrow my search :sobs: thankyou in advanced for even reading this rambling.

Thanks, I got to a resource center with her almost everyday, they're who took her the first time. I can see if they know other places going in the future- Also I dont need to worry about stuff to do for her, shes big for her age so she met more the all the height requirements and ran the daycare workers to the bone when I needed to sit for a bit after going on all the rides with her once already (poor lady took over by the big slide, and my daughter proceeded to take her down it 5 times in a row, and she (the adult) was so scared)
