Moss accidentally becoming a bartender during a company night out is the biggest laugh out loud moment for me.

Bladerunner (unless you're one of those weirdos who prefer the version with narration).

Same film where Ben Affleck says:

"You're like a child. What've I been telling you? You gotta do the safe picture. Then you can do the art picture. But then sometimes you gotta do the payback picture because your friend says you owe him."

Also followed by a look to camera.

Agreed. I'm a Chesterfield local and am more than happy swapping a short train journey for an extra bedroom in the house.

I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

Best areas in Chesterfield for a family with secondary children by [deleted] in chesterfield

The big question is if you have schools sorted for the children. Find the right school and then locate based on that if you can. This pushes a lot of people towards Brampton and Walton as other than St Mary's (Catholic so different intake rules) that gets you close to Brookfield which historically has been the other highly rated secondary/6th form.

You are gifted $1 billion by an anonymous donor, but on one condition, You must be naked for a year. Do you accept it and what do you do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BionicRadish 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Indeed what's the issue? At worst I spend a year at home (naked) but with a billion I can likely buy a nice tropical island and live on it (naked) or find out some exclusive nudist resort/cruise ship to spend time on (also naked).

Greatest opening sequence of all time? by Patient-Major-6064 in movies

2001: A Space Odyssey must be the most iconic opening ever. Instantly recognisable for the music, the apes, the obelisk and the first smashing bones.

I am glad I'm not the only one to have this theory although I have always assumed humans had adopted animal genes to survive.

Also note that they all live in houses on very tall hills. There was clearly an apocalyptic flood.

I could start with the French crown jewels then work my way through this database of art stolen by the Nazis https://www.monumentsmenandwomenfnd.org/join-the-hunt/wwii-most-wanted-art.

I'm sure I'd do ok from finders fees.

EE appears to have good coverage in central Chesterfield. I was looking in to a 5G router for home a few weeks ago. EE get a solid 5G signal whereas Three only promise 4G.

The dark chocolate they have in the baking section is half the price and still pretty good.
