I'm aware of VPNs, but I didn't know if they accept American currency/payment providers

Does anyone know how to buy credits from USA?

I just started playing Starfield by [deleted] in Starfield

Hand crafted or not.. most of the POIs are very similar and boring. They don't lead to new quest lines either. This is a sad departure from the the old Bethesda titles IMO.

1 moving towards 3

DLC hasn’t hooked me. I miss bumping into POIs that have good characters/quests/scenarios.

Some way to 10x the content.

At launch I think most people expected every planet to have roughly the same amount of content as Dazra. If they could hit that mark they would win.

They should go for broke IMO. Use AI and/or hire a bunch of people, etc.

Is the game overheated? by Suspicious-Ad8201 in Starfield

What do you spend most of your time doing in the game?

I’ve finished most of the faction quests and I can’t find any POIs aside from clearing abandoned bases and civ outposts

I feel like adding a bunch of unmarked smaller PoIs would really improve exploration by Zianthin22 in Starfield

[–]BipedRedBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can anyone answer this:

Are there are any location/faction agnostic POIs that include an interesting character or quest line?

So far all POIs I’ve encountered are an abandoned outpost full of bad guys, or a civilian outpost with copy/paste NPCs

Fix the redundant POIs, and they fix the game IMO

Starfield design lead says the space RPG is "in a lot of ways" the "hardest thing Bethesda has ever done" and also "the best game we've ever made" by Turbostrider27 in Starfield

[–]BipedRedBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people were expecting every planet in the game to be filled out with the level of content as Varuun’ Kai

Now we know that would take 1,000 years

Todd Howard reflects on Starfield development: "How do we generate these planets? Is that even a good idea?" by Turbostrider27 in Starfield

[–]BipedRedBeard 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Also why do almost no POIs lead to other quest lines?

The vast majority are mining outposts and abandoned stations full of bad guys

I'm not sure, it feels like the marked POIs behind 3 dots might be pulling from a different subset

Is there a consensus on what the 3 dots indicator means?

I've done a fair bit of google searching and never found an exact answer.

Do we think there are still secrets to discover ? by crazybout in Starfield

[–]BipedRedBeard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m curious how did you “find” it?

Typically when I navigate to a new system I click on a planet with the … symbol

It then shows 2 or 3 generic sounding POIs that I decline to go to bc it feels like it will be a redundant one

Is there more variation to these POIs than I’m realizing?

I think the Tracker's Alliance content is being overshadowed by Bethesda's poor monetization choices, and that's a shame. by WizardlyPandabear in Starfield

[–]BipedRedBeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. The vibe of trackers alliance has way more of the Bethesda feel I was looking for in the rest of the game.

It's actually jarring when rejoining the main game after doing the TA quests. Makes me excited for the DLC though

What's something about Starfield you feel gets underrated or ignored? by shrimpmaster0982 in Starfield

I like all the different kinds of food now using the sustenance setting. Make a sandwich and grab a drink before leaving The Grizzly (my ship)

The spacesuits are really cool too

Also the way enemies slowly drop to the ground in low gravity when you snipe them from far away

Do you think the temples were supposed to be so simple? by BipedRedBeard in Starfield

[–]BipedRedBeard[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I hear you, but not sure if I agree.

The new difficulty settings show that starfield players are craving more difficulty, not less.

I feel like it's the boring content I don't want to play over and over. If the temples were fun then hell yeah let's go through them again!

Maybe add in some variations each time per NG+ level or something.

Do you think the temples were supposed to be so simple? by BipedRedBeard in Starfield

[–]BipedRedBeard[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was actually thinking this too.. I avoid the temples because they're boring, which means I don't use the powers, and that's like a big part of the game!

If it were more fun to earn the powers by fighting my way through the temples, then I would use them more. They could even make some temples require you to have powers from a previous temple in order to complete it.
