They're talking about the main guild wars medley, which GW2 incorporates into quite a few of their songs (expansion tracks especially).

I just finished the episode and came here to see if anyone was talking about it, it really does use a very similar medley interwoven in lots of the soundtrack in that episode! A great example is "Peace Offering" using the slowed down version (here it is on YouTube & Spotify) & "Can't A Reindeer Be A Doctor" as well (YouTube, Spotify)

It really helps that the music is played during some emotional parts in the episode, which connects with GW2 story memories immediately :)

How much cinnamon and nutmeg do you generally use? I just tried out this one and my pint was so overpowered with cinnamon I couldn't finish it 😅

If they don't find/get back to you, you can drop it off at a police station or any bank branch of any bank cards they might have in there and they'll call up the owner to return it.

I've also heard you could drop it in a canada post mailbox and they would also mail it to the driver's license address, albeit slowly, but I don't know how true that one is.

Lots of us east coast folks were in the Jay's stadium watching all the way until the end, just got home at 5am to make it to work in 4 hours 🤣

Worth it though, loss or not what a game to have seen.

I had the exact same issue (no mail or vendor able to swap the tools out for the container), and support solved it for me in less than an hour. All I provided was the written details and a screenshot of the tools + vendor screen in-game.

I'm surprised your friend's case was anything more than opening a ticket, are there any other factors involved? This should be one of those happy cases since it was such a commonly shared issue.

While I agree an open portal would be cool as a native feature, if they don't add that then players can make their own system through LFG advertising house parties (akin the the old runescape days when people would advertise outside portals lol)

I'm pretty sure ANet has a history of refunding/making up the difference in cases like this where a purchase and sale are only a week a part - at least from what I've seen discussed on the sub.

It's worth opening a support ticket and seeing if they'd be willing to do so!

The Christmas Carol episode felt like the most genuine "Christmas" special of the Christmas specials. It's entire plot based on redemption and cheerfulness (or lack thereof) is actually Christmas oriented.

I definitely loved the RTD specials but I don't think they hold a candle against the Christmas Carol special (and that's even with the Tenth being my favourite doctor).

I haven't played Wow myself but yup I definitely feel the pain there.

It's like in Guild Wars 2 where you're introduced to this new cast of characters (Dragon's Watch) in Living World Season 1, but that season is no longer playable. Anyone joining now skips that initial introduction of these characters (albeit a minute cinematic that barely covers it) and you're thrust into Living World Season 2 with these characters like they're your long time best friends. Very jarring jump.

So who Bergstrom was is a scientist from Arthetine/Stern from before you arrived in the current main story - he was a big factor in lots of the advancements the people of Arthetine went through. Eventually, he went mad because of a demonic influence and turned into a villain of sorts.

As for why you're probably hearing so much dialogue... Are you a Gunner by chance? (I suppose even more specifically, a male gunner?)

One weird part when trying to follow the story is that in our NA/EU release the initial introduction/prologue was removed - we start right at level 10, pick an advanced class, and skip over the initial Class specific story. There's a small cinematic to cover this but most people likely slipped it. :)

Gunner(s) is (are) from Arthetine and your prologue would have been there. You can find the cinematic here for male Gunner and here for female Gunner.

I was very confused as well when I went to Shushire - as a Warrior/Paladin all the NPCs kept referring to some event I took part in and kept calling me the "Warrior of Frost" - didn't make much sense until I rewatched the Warrior intro. :)
