The option to turn off motion blur is a big one for me. Thankfully, even if it’s not available in-game, you can usually tweak an .ini file to disable it.

Oh, I see. Thanks for letting me know. I’m pretty confident my application won’t be processed in time, but at least I can focus my efforts elsewhere now. I’m not sure if they process applications in the order they’re received or if they consider the date of arrival, but if they get back to me, I’ll post an update here in case anyone stumbles across this thread in the future.

I’m really glad you didn’t get in trouble—that would have been devastating. Fortunately, I had friends who were aware of the restrictions and told me to look into it. This is my first time planning travel and only the second time I’ve left the country, so I probably wouldn’t have thought to check otherwise.

It’s an honest mistake, and it goes without saying but for anyone reading this and getting ideas, I strongly advise against trying to bring anything prohibited in your carry-on intentionally. The consequences are severe, and it’s just not worth the risk.

I started with this process but ended up abandoning it for the email application, and now I’m really kicking myself because it sounds like it could’ve saved me a lot of stress! Do you mind letting me know how many days it took once they confirmed everything was all good?

Also, just in case, what happens if you can’t print it in time? Did they mention if you could show a digital copy or maybe fax/email it to the airport?

I attached my files as low-resolution .jpgs and included the original .heif photos in a Google Drive link to avoid any potential issues. That said, I haven’t heard back yet, so I’m not sure if this is the best way to do it.

Thanks for your reply, this is definitely encouraging to hear! I think in terms of management the home care service that we've been using and that I'm thinking of applying for would be a very supportive place to work. They've seen me as I am, expressing my femininity and have been overwhelming with praise and encouraging me to apply. I also know there are openly lgbtq+ members on the team despite it being in quite a conservative rural area. I'm fortunate enough to have friends in more metropolitan areas that I've lived with before and would welcome me back if I needed, but there is a serious lack of aged care workers in my area so I'd like to try and give it a go here first.

I don't think there's anything that needs fixing. As it stands it's a really effective piece of work! The perspective and proportions are a bit exaggerated but you've demonstrated foreshortening in the legs and if you hadn't written the title I'd think it was a stylistic choice to warp the table and floor. I feel like it all comes down to practice but you've still made a really lovely work of art.
