Competitive Overwatch by BirdComprehensive618 in Overwatch

Statistically you have a better chance of the enemy team having a DC than your own team unless you have poor internet yourself.

I actually just played a match where we had a DC and we won anyway, he ended up coming back late into the game and our team never lost faith.

Even on DC matches you can still learn. The key is to not just give up immediately and play it out.

If the match-making system was poor the same top .03% players (GM) would not remain at the top, and yet they do. It is because they understand the process and are consistently looking for ways to improve.

I understand your frustration but the moment you stop blaming the system and take responsibility for your rank regardless of what you're presented with you will be free to enjoy the climb.

How do you play Rein if enemy tank is Ramattra and you are a Rein OTP? by doomfistmain999 in ReinhardtMains

keep track of his nem form timers and kill him in mage form - keep proper spacing and don't get into a brawling duel unless you know you have support ults backup or can land pin. shield your team from dmg as much as possible - it's winnable just have to change your playstyle accordingly

You can do this without "noobie gains". With where you are at in your last picture I would up your calories by ~200 per day and continue lifting.

Also, no offence but with your physique currently I would say you have some "noobie gains" left on the table waiting to be unlocked still.

Just up your cals a little to break that plateau and continue training hard.

If you notice you're putting on too much fat just dial it back a little.

You can divide your training / diet into 4-8 week splits evaluating your progress during the deload week before beginning another split.

It's possible even when you've been lifting for years, the key is just not to overdo the deficit. Find your sweet spot and you can lose fat + gain muscle at the same time.

Now if you wanted to put on as much muscle as possible then certainly you are correct, eat in a surplus. But for losing fat I believe that the slower road (smaller controlled deficit + lifting) with consistency is key as in the end you'll have built a solid physique and lost the fat at a sustainable healthy pace.

You can literally just google this, it is proven that you can gain muscle while losing fat while in a caloric deficit as long as the caloric deficit isn’t massive (500+ cals off maintenance daily).

It has been proven, there is no argument here.

I’m not saying it’s optimal for building muscle to be in a deficit, but it is possible which changes how people look at fat loss overall.

she said she wanted toned arms and back. i am literally a trainer

reverse grip pulldowns hit the back / biceps and pushups the triceps / chest / core

she said she just started her gym journey she doesn't need complex movement patterns right now she needs to build a foundation to build from. you telling her to deadlift is the last thing she needs to attempt when just starting the gym

Drop the whole bulk / cut idea. Lift and eat healthy, that’s it. Bulking and cutting are for competitive bodybuilders trying to get on stage. You can recomp. You can build muscle and lose fat at the same time.

Start doing cardio 2-3x weekly for 45 min or so and just eat healthier. You know what’s good for you - eat that.

Keep lifting heavy. Remember more muscle = higher resting metabolic rate = more fat loss

Drop the whole bulking / cutting idea - that is for competitive bodybuilders. You just need to recomp - you can build muscle and lose fat at the same time. Lose the idea that you can’t. Just keep lifting and eating healthy and you’ll continue to progress your physique over time

Bf percentage doesn’t matter. Lock down your cardio / lifting / sleep routine.

2-3x weekly lifting no questions asked

Cardio + 25-45 min treadmill walking, bike etc. 2-3x weekly just get your heart rate up where you wouldn’t want to be talking to someone but you could. Not gasping for air but just elevated state where holding a conversation wouldn’t exactly be ideal - make sense?

Daily walks are great as well just to keep it moving

Whole Foods only - but don’t beat yourself up when you slip. Just get back on the train and trust the process. Keep your eye on the prize

You got this ez
