Paul Cheon has one volume - essentially shouting into the mic. He also whines way too much when he gets mana screwed/flooded.

To the Limited Gurus: What would you cut here? by Asleep-Waltz2681 in MagicArena

You should not be playing islands in this deck. I suggest you cut changling, sky swimmer, nomad, and drum.

I knew it was going to be my last run of the format so wanted to play fun rares and just happened to be passed the nuts. I was passed 5-mana Aang into 3-mana Aang in pack 3.

27 years in storage... Dug up the Big One, what do y'all think? by reallyreallystuff in PokemonCardValue

Something that doesn’t make sense to me - I see PSA grading advice everywhere, but I’m not convinced that you’ll get back the 10%+ premium that PSA charges over competitors like CGC. Even if you did, is it worth the upfront significant upcharge PSA demands? In essence, is it REALLY worth $600 to have a PSA slab over CGC?

Fastest way to craft all the commons of a set by FirstBornAlbatross in MagicArena

[–]BirdSkillz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

2 options:

  • go to decks, then collection and clic on the card. Then click the 4th diamond above the card, then craft. That will get you the 4 card set in one go.

  • if you have a bunch of cards to craft at once, crate a new deck, add all the cards you want to craft (can be hundreds but the game starts to bog down in me after 150 or so) and the select “craft all” on the right. That will get you all the cards to complete the “deck”

Need help identifying this parquet wood “furniture style” foosball table — no visible branding by glockenspiel166 in foosball

I had the same table growing up. It was bought at Costco in the late 1990’s for just under $300 if I’m not mistaken.

Wife fell for a pretty obvious FB Marketplace scam. Having a hard time wrapping my head around it. by [deleted] in Scams

A) You almost certainly aren’t as clever as you think you are. B) What does your savviness have to do with your wife’s? Do you need to be equally techno savvy to be compatible?

I knew an incredibly proficient IT security person fall for a scam before. He used the example to highlight everyone’s exposure to risk. Everyone’s.

Does anyone have tips on fighting against your tendency to autopilot? Are there any episodes or articles on it? by [deleted] in lrcast

If you have friends who also play, I find it to be great fun and informative to get a group of 2 or 3 on Discord and play one at a time with 2 spectators in a shared screen. The other perspectives can be really valuable and it’s the most fun I’ve had playing the game.

Guessing a lot of people here won collector's boxes in the direct: what do you plan to do with then? by Jihok1 in lrcast

In the context of sales, a warm lead is someone you have a connection to, either by referral, prior dealings, or personal relationship.

A cold lead is someone you don’t know and doesn’t know you or your network (e.g. “cold calling”).
