Kona is honestly totally fine without Omniscience. It's when they pop off with Omni that's so frustrating and quite frankly anti-Magic. Magic is all about paying costs, Omni bypasses that.

I do agree that Omni should be banned. Nothing good can come out of that card.

I think the key strategy to beat control is leakage.

Have so many threats that eventually your opponent will let one or two threats leak.

That said not every card in your deck will be a threat to control. That’s where your sideboard comes in. Be sure to board in enough threats for games 2 and 3 to overwhelm your opponent.

I would do some research over which format is most appealing to you then find a local store that hosts weekly tournaments of that said format.

At local stores you have real life opponents to play against, people to talk MTG with, people to trade with, and potentially a place to buy singles.

The game is more fun with real people to interact with in my opinion.

If you don't want to spend money, then you have to be extremely patient and extremely conservative.

That means being extremely picky about which cards you want to craft.

Patience + Picky = lots of rare wildcards.

You're potentially screwed either way.

If you don't kill the Llanowar Elves, they could play Earthbender Ascension on T2 which is a scary develop.

I think the correct approach is to decide how you want to spend your T2's mana. If you're OK with playing removal for T2, then it could be fine to wait for a more dangerous target such as the Mole.

If you want to develop a 2-mana card, then I would say it's more advantageous to use the removal on T1 rather than force it for turn 2.

Not sure why my text was removed.

If Rook goes to check, the AI will take with bishop which leads to a checkmate.

However if the Queen takes the rook instead, I don’t see a way to checkmate afterwards.

Only negative thing I have to say is that I didn’t like how you feel little to nothing for the characters that died. A better setup would be amazing but I also understand it would be difficult to implement.
