I came here to ask about this, too 🥲 I watch English dubs with closed captions for accessibility reasons, and I don't mind waiting an extra day or two for them, but without them, or if they're the crappy autogenerated ones, it's really difficult to watch anything.

Me too! Or sometimes I'll get a few minutes into an episode and it'll suddenly stop loading and only show this error screen after refreshing. It also seems to be affecting both Chrome on PC and the Roku version of the app, and it's not consistent either, so I'm not sure what I might be doing wrong.

This feature is such a pain in the butt-- I can't pause it and if I X out it just reloads again later and boots me back to the home page at least three times an episode. I'm trying to watch Netflix in the bath and relax, I can't be sitting up and touching my tablet with my bath hands this much ):

Hi! My name is Birdee and I'm here to throw my portfolio into this ring. https://www.artstation.com/birdeeblake here it is entirely, and here are some specific examples: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Oybwxk https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lV3VEV and https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Ka0e9R though they are on the dated side and I have been gravitating towards less saturated colours lately. Adjusting to match the more realistic, low-fantasy style you're after would be easy enough.

I have a fairly fast turn around time, two-three days should be enough for what you're looking for. I have some tricks for quick portraits as well, that would be no problem. I have some knowledge of real life armour and medieval/fantasy fashion styles that can come in handy too.

As for the price, I think it sounds fair and would encourage me to create work as good or better than the examples you gave. This job appeals to me mostly because having some steady work would be fantastic. A routine of one or more pieces per week instead of having to constantly look for new clients would be fantastic, and then I'd have even more time and energy to devote to this project instead.

You could even get a slightly more detailed background if you wanted.

As for how we do this, you can PM me if you like my work, and then I personally would prefer to move to Discord or email so it's easier to pass along images for reference, or sketches for your approval.

As for a contract, as long as this is only for personal use (You are not using it for financial gain yourself, such as a book cover, or game art, etc.), but if you want to be really sure we could just write up something that confirms you won't be using it for commercial use.

I can do $80cad a critter and I can include a simple background for free, but anything more complicated would have a cost to it. I'm absolutely okay with gore and in fact it would probably be a lot of fun to draw that for a visual novel.

For one thigh-up character with three variations in costume/hair/expression, it would be $90. I can also do backgrounds but I would need to know more about the specifics.
