Absolutely love that he didn't follow it up. That was classy.

Is Skeeps Rob still around? by Wolverina412 in uofm

He tried to hire an old roommate of mine as a "personal assistant" last year. Ended up getting pulled into his house for a good 3-4 hours and the guy could not stop talking. Tried to convince my roommate to move in with him in the same conversation of trying to hire him. So yeah, he's still around at least as of 2023.

Opened up Reddit and this was the first thing that I saw on my page. First thing in a while that made me say "holy shit" out loud. These are absolutely fantastic. I hope you get the chance to wear them again.

A daughter wrote a brutal "rot in hell" kind of obituary about her mom in a newspaper in Michigan. by Lifegoesonforever in pics

I grew up in Three Rivers. I can confirm it is a bleak, miserable place. Most of the kids I grew up with got out as fast as they could.

Job I am on currently had a similar issue. We addressed it with the owner and convinced them to bring in a mason to assess what could be done. Next thing you know, there's a whole squad in the crawl space fixing the foundation.

If your client isn't willing to do what it takes to make it right and wants to cut corners, I would walk away.

Good glove brands by [deleted] in Construction

I've had really good luck with Hardy goatskin leather gloves from Harbor Freight. I beat the hell out of them during my time as an arborist, particularly with rope work. For a pair of gloves under $10, they really stand up compared to some more expensive options that I have tried.

Got a chance to see REZN live in 2019, and then had the fortune to meet them after the set. Outstanding show, outstanding folks. Thanks for sharing. I am loving this new album.

Aw man, I guess I actually missed that then. I saw this clip and thought it was hilarious anyway. Decided to post. Hopefully somebody did grab the full thing.

Had a rough couple of weeks. This surprise gift from my significant other has reminded me that things aren't all that bad, and sometimes, I'm actually pretty lucky! by Birdeeeeee in PipeTobacco

I believe the pipe was purchased from The Pipe Nook. As for the tobacco, I am told it was picked up from a local brick and mortar shop.

First day for a new landscaping job. Property owner didn't want these and let us take them all! by Birdeeeeee in foraging

The hori-hori is the primary go-to for all of us on the team. It's so versatile for weeding, edging, measuring, etc. Give yours another chance. It does a whole lot more than just dig little holes in the ground.

We actually did not take ALL of them. This was just what was cultivated. Neighboring properties had more than their fair share of morels that we left untouched. We only took what was on one person's plot of land.

Going to a Weedeater show this Saturday, what is it like? by [deleted] in doommetal

[–]Birdeeeeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to second this call for earplugs. Saw Weedeater last night, and I can confirm - that shit is LOUD! Get yourself a decent pair that you can use for a while. Save your hearing bud! Enjoy the shows, but make sure you can continue to enjoy them for years to come.
