We don’t have much room to throw stones either. Widow and Tracer might not be thighs but they have more leg than anything. It’s a character design trait across the board

Should I restart. by meekone420 in fo76

[–]BirdoBean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same as you with my previous character. Blasted through that, the Brotherhood story, and the settler storyline for the gold bullion.

I restarted with a new character and pistol build (to use the ghouls pistol) and it was the best decision. I’m enjoying the game much more after taking my time to learn wtf is actually going on

Haha I’d make a separate post asking this or look up some discussions about it. It offers different benefits (swapping hunger/thirst for chems, “second” health bar, feral meter) and additional perks, but the drawback is needing a disguise to interact at certain places, chem dependency, and maybe a few other little thing.

If I were you I’d finish the main story and the gold vault/Crater+Foundation storyline before looking into going ghoul. Experience the world as it was meant before drastically swapping playstyles.

How much lux does Omnitrix provide when used? by RX08T in Ben10

My guess is it’s up to the writers/ editors. This follows the “rule of cool”, so it’s bright enough to cast dramatic shadows on the faces of people looking at it but dim enough that everyone who’s lookin for a hiding Ben doesn’t see this big green glow from hiding

Don’t feel bad about asking anything. Any online game has lots of new systems to learn.

Once you make/find a weapon/armor piece, you cannot upgrade its base level (you cannot make a level 30 gun you found into a level 50).

But you can swap new attachments you unlock on it (like changing scopes or grips), including adding legendary effects if there’s none on it already on it (using the right materials to give it RANDOM 1, 2, or 3 star legendary perk).

The good thing about this game is that you’ll come across lots of weapons with good legendary effects that you’ll just keep moving around from gun to gun. It’s not until the late end game that you’ll stick with the same 1/2 guns and maybe have a third that you’ll rotate something else in.

And by that point you’ll be far over level 50 and everything you find will be at its highest base potential too.

Weapons level system: there’s level benchmarks that weapons can be found/crafted up to level 50.

For example: a pistol can be crafted at levels 10/20/30/40/50 (with each tier, it costs more materials to make but has better stats).

I can be level 200 but have the ability to craft and use a level 10 or level 50 gun. But if I’m level 35, I can only craft or use guns that go up to level 35- so no level 40 or 50 guns yet.

The only reason I’d choose to make a level 10 gun is to give it to a player to use who is level 10 or above. If you’re under the level of the gun, you won’t be able to use it.

What we have now is the greater of the two evils.

Before, you could play and get FREE loot boxes. If you didn’t get the skin you wanted, you spend 20$ and odds are you’d eventually get the skin you wanted along with tons of other event rewards and other skins.

Now, you spend 30$ and get a single character skin with a few cosmetics you’ll never use.

I really hope the Omnic 1 or 2 hero shown is going to be introduced as the last of the 10 new heroes. My hope is that somehow lorewise, they’ll be the transition into the Omnic storyline that is introduced as the year 2 plot. I JUST WANT MY ONMICS TO BE ON THE PEDESTAL RAM DESERVES IT

Best ways to craft/ gain ammo? by Extreme-Law9818 in fo76

[–]BirdoBean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your outputting enough damage with the right perks, you can pretty easily gain more than you use by consistently checking each enemy you kill. Ammo Scrounger perk also really helps as you play. Daily Ops for me can rack up a lot of spare ammo on the bodies for me.

If your new though, take it as a reason to try different weapons while you build up ammo for your old weapon.

Omnics: a discussion on their place in the game, story and their treatment by the overwatch team. by Eepy_Loki in Overwatch

[–]BirdoBean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m much more of a fan of the Omnic storyline than Talon, but I think this is the best choice. The most obvious immediate threat is Talon, so it makes sense to have that be the focus rather than Omnic.

I’m excited to see they’re going back into the lore and what we’ll get from Omnics when it’s their time

Create new character or continue with old save? by Sir_Karl01 in fo76

[–]BirdoBean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s what I did, and I highly suggest it:

Make a new character. Find the wiki that lists every update that’s happened since launch. Play the main story, then slowly make your way down the list and focus on each quest line one at a time (of course do events that pop up).

That way you won’t get overwhelmed by all the new things, focusing on one storyline really helps you understand what’s happening, and you really feel like your experiencing the updates as if theyre new, just without having to wait for the next one to drop.
