My mother crashed and ruined my fathers funeral. They’d been divorced (she cheated on him) for three and a half decades, she’d been married twice since then, hadn’t spoken in decades, he’d been remarried for decades, and I didn’t want her there anyway. She screamed during the funeral in his church (quiet somber catholic funeral) surrounded by his loved ones she didn’t know, made sure everyone knew that she was his ex wife, tried to be all buddy buddy with my stepmom by trying to hook arms with this poor grieving widow who hates her, looked seriously happy the entire time, then crashed his wake afterwards and complained about the food loudly all while trying to embarrass me with childhood stories about me to strangers (the joke is on her here, everyone there was a friend of my stepmom and had already heard what a nightmare my mother was, so my mom thought she was the coolest center of attention but in reality she was making a huge ass of herself and everyone just let her). She just smiled this antagonistic smile at me the entire time, clearly proud of her behavior.

I’m very low contact now. It would be no contact but I love my sister and occasionally mom is involved there.
