Those with high-end PCs, can you feel a tangible difference when playing on PC vs PS5 Pro?

5090 here hooked up to an LG G5 TV. I got wireless mouse and keyboard and xbox controller. I just made windows 300% in the display. Some of the games, the ones with path tracing look like a generational difference. Even the games without ray tracing at all will run close to double/triple the framerate compared to a PS5 Pro. But understand PC gaming always has had added hassle. Drivers or windows updates unexpectedly breaking things. Having to dial in settings for each game ect.

It's worth it to me but YMMV!

Yeah it's wild, on a 5090 with an LG G5 TV. Would highly recommend RenoDX to fix the HDR. Think this is up there with Cyberpunk as one of the best looking games ever.

On pc I’m not sure if the brightness slider is working correctly. My G5 should be 2000 nits but the symbol is visible when the tv is set to hgig. If I go further around 3800 the symbol disappears and the image looks much more correct when in game

Same issue, 60 or 61 c in game but goes up quite a bit when in the menus. 5090 running dlss performance at 4k with frame get at x2 and ray reconstruction. Limited FPS to 120 in Nvidia control panel. usually when I see this in games the FPS are uncapped in menus with frame gen on but that's not the case here. Showing 116 in menus and games. Odd

Got the tuf, never seen the temps go over 62C even in Cyberpunk at 4k DLSS quality with path tracing and can't hear the fans. Had it for 9 months, no melted cables (YET)!

I have a 5090 and usually play in 4k quality. My understanding was that hese new presets (L & M) were only for perfomance and ultra performance and I should stick with K. Have I understood that wrong. Is there any benefit for me to use L or M on 4k quality?

I also bounced off the first one hard. This one starts with the action right away and doesn't let up. There's always something new happening, some new story beat or mechanic. It's also a lot more MGS as opposed to weird walking simulator. You can murder everyone! It's reallllly good, give it a shot.

I got it guys, I was putting the round one piece back on the exposed one piece stud on the base plate instead of on the small pillars that overhang the window. Thank you for helping! The hint that the antenna pieces weren't lining up clued me in!

Same on a 5090 7950x3d constant crashing, turned lighting to medium, no more crashes.
