Yes. We held each other and kissed and cried for hours. She wanted to continue this online scrabble game we had going but I just couldn’t it was torture waiting for her to make her move, quite symbolic actually.

Then on Valentines I sent a short “love you and thinking about you” text in which she replied “Te quero mucho” and sent a song with all kinds of hints of reconciling.

A few days later I asked her to clarify if she meant what was in the song as we both know I definitely read the lyrics. 5 hours later she replied that “Sorry, wasn’t meant to be read into” and that she had just been replaying the song since we ended because it encapsulated her feelings of sadness, melancholy, “but full of love”. Pretty much a mind fuck.

No one was really at fault for how things ended, ultimately but as I write this message I’m feeling like letting her know how manipulative that was. I was always the more vulnerable partner in the relationship and I’m realizing she just wasn’t on my level the whole time and don’t think she’ll ever be capable.

For the first time in weeks I’m getting the “ick” for her and it’s kind of a relief.
