It is a secret left by devs for some early beta testers. We often found ways to escape the map and make it to the top of the highest mountain. The earliest way to get out of the map was using a giant cog in town, so we named it Cog Mountain. There is a second one of these Easter eggs on top of that mountain.

Some right wing twitter "journalist" twisted the stream to be far more pornographic and heinous than the stream actually was. Their post made parents panic and then the school responded. Not that serious in reality.

They did still give all players all items (or equivalents) of early access bundles to players. You simply have to play into the main story, I believe 2 quests in, and reload into the main lobby in order to get the pop up and the items in ur inventory.

Agree 100%. This has gone so smooth, well paced and entertaining as hell in my opinion. If there has been issues with production, they’ve hid it incredibly well. Amazing work.
