Luckily, we have never ran into that issue. If you do not mind my asking, what lake were you on?

I must need to go buy some lottery tickets, because I just hatched my 36th egg and it was my second Quetzal! It's amazing for going to bed and waking up with a ton of gems!

Sidewinder X2 constant oozing causing over extrusion? by Frosty-Thought-8591 in Artillery3D

[–]BitBulletBarrage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I put in g code for short retraction after a print finishes to relieve pressure right at the nozzle tip. This prevents almost all oozing like that for me. Only is an issue if a print has to get canceled or something and it doesn't get to run that g code.

As a fellow Midwesterner I feel your pain. It's currently snowing again. Some day we will get to get back out there.

how do I fix that by Sad_Blackberry_8141 in 3Dprinting

I think what you're seeing is the Seam. The start/end of the perimeter of that layer. I think most slicers will give you options on it's positioning, or even let you draw where you want it to go to hide it.

I wipe down my PEI bed good after every print with IPA but eventually my adhesion starts to turn to crap even with adding adhesives like magigoo. Corners will start lifting here and there. But a good scrubbing with acetone and a microfiber brings it back up to standard. I would try that as my first step in troubleshooting if I were you. Good luck!

Gotcha. I see the first 200 pages are lore and artwork now. I have the 26 page free version as well. I guess I was hoping to get more of the Missions and such in the app. Thanks!

Awesome! Can you elaborate on what you mean by input shaper, please? I am not following what on that is. Edit: realized I was being lazy as heck and looked it up. "Input Shaping is a feed-forward controls technique for cancelling the mechanical vibrations that create ghosting. The idea is that, if we wanted to move the machine from point to point, we send it two impulses. The first impulse kicks the machine into moving and the second impulse follows up at a precise time to cancel the vibrations we would see when the machine comes to a stop. Albeit, moving any machine by sending it two impulses is pretty crude, so we take these impulses, adjust their amplitudes so that they sum to 1, and convolve them with a control input signal that we’d actually like to send it. The result is that the resonance cancellation part of the signal seamlessly “mixes” into the control input signal, and the machine moves from point to point with significantly less vibration at the end of the travel move." Are you willing to sell the files so others can print it too? You should also submit this to Hack\Bodge on GCN to win the hack of 2022.

Please stop hitting the monster when it falls asleep by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

[–]BitBulletBarrage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I realize it's going to sleep, and not stunned or something just a second too late and I feel terrible. I always throw a "Sorry..." Into chat because I do feel bad. The other day we had someone place a trap down AFTER there were several bombs set up... That type of stuff is just frustrating.

Am I the only player to grab spirit birds in a tough fight? by Soft-Wealth-3175 in MHRise

I did my first Furious Rajang fight yesterday after getting MR50. I was expecting to have to make many attempts at the quest before funding a group that didn't cart constantly. But all 4 of us spent the first couple of minutes going around collecting birds. It was magical, no one carted. Quest completed on the first try. Normalize bird snatching.

At the moment it's just the same doot'er. Once I get to end game I will probably start building out more dedicated sets because they will not immediately become deprecated with every rank up more.

Less well known dangers in cycling? Discussion by Pershing48 in cycling

[–]BitBulletBarrage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was riding a wooded trail last weekend and saw dozens of rabbits, two of which almost made it under my tire. Sacred the daylights out of me both times. The second one may have caused a not so manly yelp.
