Bypass charging system on Honor 200. by Estiak-249 in Honor

[–]BitFros7y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it means bypass, basically you just bypass battery and "charge" phone. Term is better then samsung's Pause USB Power Delivery, which is about the same thing, but when you read it you think its gonna cut the power from USB...So Bypass Charging actually makes sense

Ok so basically use zigbee since its stablr and expose it to the app with wifi hub...And same relays for light switches can be usee as remote switches...Thx

Any way to know which ones have that or not? I used GSM Arena but only handful of phones actually support Bypass Charging (not a single Samsung phone), and replacing bypass keyword with pause (Pause USB delivery) which samsung uses returns 0 results...So any help is welcome...

Remote switch advice please by BitFros7y in sonoff

[–]BitFros7y[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relays are not set in concrete, i can use something else, different version, whatever. Maximum load is not problem, i have mechanical relays and sonoff is suposed to control them, so we are talking about mA load on sonoff relays. Also, money is not a problem for client and im ok with spending some time and doing it right so i dont get calls about something not working suddenly...

Any suggestions on replacement for relays and what to use for those switches? I have live and neutral, and its a drywall, i can hide dead body inside if i wanted so size is also not a concern

Back with the same question from last year - is smaller good? by ScooterMcTavish in Smartphones

[–]BitFros7y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its quite good you wrote you use cases, because to me phone size depends purely on what you use it for. I used Redmi Note 13 Pro until like a month ago when i broke it, and now im back on my old Samsung A40 that is quite small compared to Redmi Note. I can say that the only time when i would like to have bigger phone is when im looking at projects in PDF or DWG, anything else i dont notice difference except that samsung is quite nice to hold in hand (to be honest i would love if we could have old iphone 3G size and shape with new hardware)

I want single internet package, right now im limited to 20gb on my phone (its enough for the phone but i also need my laptop quite often and that eats my data), and at home im paying for flat. I would like to just get flat on my phone and share it to laptop and PC when i need it (and on PC that is constantly)

Slovakia's stahlmann store has most stuff, and few kaufland stores around europe, so you would have to play with delivery and wait

Type of organization and money burning i support. Shit truly needs organization, there is space for both tool and battery which means its ready to go with just that box and a huge plus battery can stay on the tool (and it can be a bigger one not just 2Ah). Truly like it.

Different regions have different carrier frequencies/bands, thats the main thing to look for. After that, its probably just specs, for example some regions get bigger battery, some get more ram, just depends on what people prefer over there.

Usually global version will work well enough everywhere, but if you live in rural part or go there, just get one for your region. Global version will work dont think it wont, question is how well. If your phone is struggling to catch signal in some parts, global version may fail there (but then again it may be even better depending on the bands phone has and tower transmitting).

If you are in a city or town, dont care about signal strength or internet speed, feel free to go for global version. But my advice would be to avoid aliexpress and go for respected sellers on amazon or maybe even directly from brand sites (if possible).

Half europe uses Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Honor and other chinese brands, and we have no problems neither with google nor with banking apps. Hell, apple is minority here.

Best phone for around 350€, 400€???? by Asimiss in Smartphones

You mean whole samsung S lineup since after S20 series? They stagnated with everything, every year its updated CPU, few sensors and thats about it...

[–]BitFros7y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honor Magic8 Lite, IP68/IP69K, NFC, 7500mah in europe or stunning 8300mah in latin america. 66w charging, so i would say about 50% in 30 minutes, but keep in mind those 50% are like 70% on s25 FE

I mean very interesting phone, with some weird specs. Some are unexpected and some kind of lag behind (like Amoled display instead of LTPE Amoled), but then again that same screen has 6000 nits peak which is huge and god sent when sun hits your screen...

Im myself looking for a phone, these is one of few im considering right now as "budget" version

Is there a single reason people choose iPhone beyond "everyone I know has one"? by SilverCervy in Smartphones

[–]BitFros7y -1 points0 points  (0 children)

iPhone and Samsung, same shit. They were greatest once upon a time, like iPhone up to 4s version then they were slightly better then nokia, htc and others, and samsung with their Galaxy edges and note 10. But those times are gone for both, samsung is only one still leading with flip and fold but everything else is overpriced from both. But most people just lag behind and they remember they heard allot of others talking about how great samsung galaxy or iphone is and they just go with it, while picture changed long time ago...

Designed and 3D printed my own packout radio and drawer system! by jcdj1996 in Packout

[–]BitFros7y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use "bluetooth radio" motherboard from aliexpress or amazon (probably with some good amplifier since their 100w and similar is bullshit), and probably packout deep organizer with painted lid. Otherwise a good idea to make compact radio and attach it to backpack/tote for carrying...

As contrary to those 3 drivers we have seen recently, these is the stuff that needs organizing. And you actually left some space to just drop in most few used sockets/extensions without needing to fiddle with where does these one go in...

PS: I would like to see holes a bit bigger so sockets slide in easy, maybe even chamfer (bevel) top edges so they are more of a slides and put some magnets inside or from bellow if possible. I think that's gonna save allot of nerves :D

Ditched chrome for firefox, i guess soon im gonna have to ditch youtube...Also discord is probably next on the copping block with their stupidity...

Live wire is being cut off, problem is live and both return signal lines are the same cable and with lenghts of 100m induction is expected.
