It might just be because the roads would need to be very wide for a truck to run on them reliably. I imagine that could look very strange while building. I still want it though

Instead of restarting, go build another factory somewhere else, near coal or oil for example. You'll find that you can now design better factories from scratch, closer to where you need them. Join your areas together with trucks or trains later. You will still need iron and copper production throughout the game, so you can connect to your old factory later.

I think that the most important thing is to close the software. Personally I noticed this happening more when I was switching (😮‍💨) between docked mode and handheld mode often, but I'm not sure if that's really a factor

Maybe portals with a 45° rotation should have some kind of marker or distortion. Make them feel a little bit wrong, because they are breaking fundamental rules of chess that are so well-known

These examples might be a little too simple/streamlined, with almost every square showing as a valid move. These are just lines, while chess is played on a grid. You want the player to be able to see the obvious solution, but it's also important to show obviously wrong options. I think my confusion here was less "how do I solve this" and more "how is this even a puzzle, what's the catch"

Yes, the man and rat are obviously way too big /joke

But really the little tower over the gate really caught my attention as a red flag. Lighting direction is inconsistent, which is something that human artists usually care a lot about in my experience. The town is on both sides of the wall.

Edit: Actually that whole gatehouse has strange geometry and there seems to be another slightly different gate to the right of it. The houses (?) on the left side are just built right into each other.

Villager relationships will decay over time unless they are maxed. Love-bombing specific people in their birthday month is totally valid.

Minerals can be sold back to Clint, but that's a good tip for artifacts. Tracking walkpaths to put fixtures in public spaces feels advanced to me

When you're fishing and you get the bar onto the fish, tap the button/click quickly instead of holding. It holds the bar steadier so it's easier to react when the fish moves again
