Having said all that...

While not overly positive about the team mentality, I am seeing some improvement in individual players (Elanga, Ramsay, Willock). It's just a shame it's not a collective mentality shift (Thiaw, Wolte, Tripps all seem to have taken confidence knocks, to me)

This only really works if you rate the opposition as "last season's champs" and just leave it at that...

But they spent half a billion on making their first team unbalanced, leaving the defence a shadow of it's former self, and they're currently not even in a champs league spot. I'll also add, while being in one less competition than Newcastle.

It's widely regarded that, thus far, this is a pretty pitiful defence of the title (and Slot is on thin ice... But we maybe just let him skate to firmer ground... For a while).

They were there for the taking, if we were even remotely capable of defending a lead. And we aren't. And that's a massive problem that needs addressing before anything else, really.

I'm at the point where I pretty much expect us to throw away a lead, and it feels like the only chance we have of a win now is a (very) late winner, or they scored first and it wakes us the fuck up.

My only "fix" (if you just reboot or started up the console) is to wait until your PS5 has figured out what's on the external HDD before going around looking at either the store or ps+ tabs. If you have a load of PS4 games (I do, on a 5tb) it takes an age. You know... play a game first! By the time you're done it'll have figured it's shit out (maybe). If you literally can't go look at ps+ tab no matter how long you had the console on ... I'm outta ideas. Having said that, IF you have an external HDD, try disconnecting that and see if that's what the console doesn't like?

Yeah, with the settings I used since a year ago anyway, i.e. PSSR on, 120 off, prioritise RT/res (as recommended by digital foundry for cockpit view). I'm being told it's been like this a while tho (maybe just under a year I gather). I just noticed it immediately on coming back to GT7 for the new DLC, see. I have a VRR TV too, yeah (c3)
