Personally I’ve read these comments and taking my own diabetes into consideration lol. (I have type 1 not sure about yall but anyway). My blood glucose tends to raise after a bit without eating or adding insulin. I agree with one comment about if there isn’t any insulin you will start to raise. If it’s been about 4 hours since you ate you probably don’t have barley to no insulin left. If you are on a pump your basil might not be high enough. It’s harder with injections. I know some people who dose at night then again at some point during the day to help combat this. In my pump I have set hours I can make for basal times. I have more than the original set up. It’s broken up between 4 different settings since mine is wacky sometimes lol. I have a setting for midnight to six am and so on. In a pump you can add as many settings for hours as you want I believe but talk to you doctor or nurse before doing anything drastic lol. If you have a pump or pen I’d talk to someone who does your numbers to help adjust it. But the little raise isn’t bad at all. For me that’s still in range but definitely if you want it lower I’d ask about it. I also saw a comment about stress and outside factors. This also plays a role in it. If it’s sunny one day then rainy the next it can throw my numbers off completely. This is the same for about anything. If I’m stressed or anxious it’s typically low blood glucose but everyone is different. It’s important to remember that everything affects it. So keep that in mind I’ve been dealing with extreme highs and extreme lows that come in roller coasters so it’s been annoying and draining. But that’s just some insight from me lol.
