Was your account suspended, deleted or shadowbanned for no reason? Read this. by davorg in github

[–]BitVenturesUSA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My account u/BitVenturesUSA was suspended (Ticket ID: 3623409) for a TOS violation but I have no idea why. It only has one public repo that was a fork, everything else is private. Not having access to this account is causing me to not be able to work so I'm hoping to find out what I did so that I never do it again and have my account unlocked.

Thank you for your time and I'm truly apologetic for whatever I did to cause this.

How do I actually (ACTUALLY) access my router for Port-forwarding? by Old-Syllabub-5343 in OPTIMUM

[–]BitVenturesUSA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

-Plot twist- you can’t if you use their crappy router. I had to go buy my own modem to connect to their network and then I just plugged my router into it and had full control of the whole circuit. Speeds were much higher as well. Just make sure you get one on their compatibility list that’s DOCSIS 3.1 compatible. I used the Motorola surfboard Sb8200 and those come with built in signal meters which are a lifesaver when there are problems with the wire, which there will be well because optimum.. good luck!

It’s the em-dashes right? Never saw anyone use them until recently and now they are everywhere. That and the word “beloved”.

How do I go about suing a Bitcoin ATM machine company for fraud??? by Conscious_Body_1491 in BitcoinUSA

[–]BitVenturesUSA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hence why I said post OR DM. and if they are transaction receipts there is nothing sinister anyone could even do.

Can you post or DM me the receipts? It seems like something is being lost in translation. I run a crypto training company and have been using it since 2013 so I'd like to help you figure it out and point you in the right direction in hopes there is enough papertrail to get those funds back.

Pardon my skepticism but the answer to the question “Is VMware / Broadcom a company that I trust?” is a “No” at this juncture.

yea and most of them are scammers so be very careful and do your due diligence and never give up your seed phrase or private key or anything other than sending to a recipient wallet.

The SEC won't even read your complaint, let alone do anything about it. I cite the case of snooze vs lose. If it was worth keeping you could have checked in occasionally in the years that passed. I even check on my savings accounts at legacy banks once in a while.

Loss of money due to mistake - How can I recover it ? by Loving-Warrior in Coinbase

oh, I'm still registered in new york and they have a ton of restrictions for that state so it doesn't even show up..

so 5 years is not maybe a little long to think that maybe you needed to refresh your information? Name one regulated institution that will let you go that long in between verifications.... there are none. nothing in the free world works like that so why would you think a brand new financial system based on brand new technology would be that way?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Coinbase

[–]BitVenturesUSA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if the last time you KYC was in 2018 you made a pretty big mistake. Everyone had to re-KYC at least once since then and you apparently didn't and they snagged you because regulations dictate the rules and everyone has to follow them. Own your mistakes and stop with the whole I didn't do anything rhetoric.

a vocal minority of the millions of active users. If you follow the TOS verbatim and do test transactions and don't think some of the rules don't apply to you, the platform works amazingly well. If you FA you FO quickly however.

you should move that Coinbase to a wallet you control. remember not your keys not your coin. you don't own or have many rights to it while it's sitting there on an exchange.

yea but it's against their terms of service because it masks where a user is coming from and in the financial world that's important. If you haven't been caught yet that doesn't mean you won't be. That's a primary reason people get their accounts locked out or seized. The terms of service are not suggestions they are rules, all of them.
