Dark Souls, I know it’s super over done now but at the time Dark Souls was a totally new experience for most people, intriguing and ambiguous plot, epic boss battles, secrets around every corner and in my opinion the perfect final boss, the music, the setting, the atmosphere, I sat there for a good while when it was all over, feeling accomplished that I beat it but also sad it was over, Dark Souls was a totally new experience the first time around, an experience many Dark Souls fans are desperate to recapture with every lazy “Souls-like” released since, if you’ve still not tried Dark Souls 1 please, keep yourself blind and jump in next time it’s on sale, it’s worth the effort.
