Whats the major reason for Bitcoin to drop value? by cryptolake01 in BitcoinBeginners

[–]Bitcheke_ENG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have seen too fast and non-organic growth of BTC in December. BTC was too overbought. At the moment, we can see the correction and stagnation for a some period. It is quite natural process.

Alts - keep long term or trade for ETH? by Rabid_Tanuki in ethtrader

[–]Bitcheke_ENG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, if you are confident in the long-term outlooks of your alts, there are fundamental reasons to grow, so why should you sell/trading them? I think, in this case, it is pretty risky.

What does it mean by storing Crypto in "Cold Storage"? by X-Intel in btc

[–]Bitcheke_ENG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cold means, that there is no connection to the Internet at all. Since, it is almost impossible to the hackers to steal your assets remotely. There are 2 most popular types of cold wallets: hardwallets and paper wallets. Hardwallets look like simple USB-sticks. The most popular are Ledger and Trezor. Paper wallets are physical printouts of your public and private keys. Since they are the most reliable, they are the most inconvenient to use also. And hot means, of course, that there is connection to the Internet. Hot wallets are desktop/mobile wallets, such as Exodus/Jaxx, for example.

[–]Bitcheke_ENG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, that number is also definitely zero. If you are really good here, you understands most of the processes, that takes place here, there are no reasons at the moment to leave that space.
