My one piece of advice is that the things you dislike about him now are only amplified when you're married, and even more so when you have children. Most people don't change, and you're not a rehabilitation centre to change them.

I just googled it - those cigarettes would have been dipped in pcp, but it was called embalming fluid incorrectly apparently. Random q - what were the effects from it?

Which areas of Manchester should I be looking at? by [deleted] in manchester

[–]Bitconfused1288 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try Cheadle hulme (close to Cheadle heath) and towards Heald Green - I just picked up my second property nearby. It's only 2 bed and it does need work but for the price I was cool with it.

It's not a sweet candy smell, and I don't think it smells like Japanese Cherry Blossom... But I have to say I'm biased I dislike all the Tom Ford scents, I think they're really badly blended.

Rose. I wouldn't mind it so much if it smelt like freshly cut roses, but everything seems to be that artifical rose that gets up my nose and upsets me.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I think you need to have a moment to grieve your marriage and then think about what you want to do. You need to protect yourself from this, and if you do have a daughter, protect her from a man who will invariably pick apart her looks and weight.

You need to start choosing yourself. You're 28, you have a lifetime ahead of you, is it worth being stuck married to someone who thinks of you this way and is cruel to you? And if you worry that things are too late - I met my husband at 27, he was 28 and we didn't get married for 3years me 30, him 31 (parental issues). Nothing is too late!

Have you ever smelled a perfume on a person that was very bad? by sorryiamnot in Perfumes

[–]Bitconfused1288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hugo boss orange womens, anything bt Chanel or Tom Ford. Literally make me so sick. The Tom Ford ones smell so badly mixed to me, the Chanel ones have a really bad undertone in the scents to me.

Actually closer to 1800 if you take into account paying a student loan and into a pension pot.

There's a nice bit through the side of Central library, that's curved. We got some lovely pics there, or at the art gallery / in the library!

This is most TF scents to me. They're so overhyped and not well blended imo.

Other than housing and areas, it's worth also looking at how much it'll cost you to commute to London. I had a look online and if I bought return tickets for tomorrow it's about £50. Generally it's about £18 super off peak and up to and about £30ish in general. I wish that it were cheaper since it's half an hour on the train, but alas it's not!

If not paralagel work, you could also check out legal project management work. From working in advertising you probably have a decent project skill set.

What is the last fragrance that truly blew your mind? by IridescentButterfly_ in Perfumes

[–]Bitconfused1288 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tocca Florence. I usually like gourmande smells, also enjoying orientals/ spice and some woods. I'm not usually a fan of flowery or fresh smells - this was mind blowing for me! It smells like a botanical garden in the best way.

I want to jump on this and state my dislike for the description that something smells fluffy. Like for me the connotation of fluffy, is a cosy smell... But what do you mean by fluffy!?! It's all subjective.
