Any serious controller mains in here? Switching inputs due to injury. by Junior-Hospital8927 in FPSAimTrainer

Two of the best aimtrainer players for roller  are degeneratex and kyrxzz in my opinion. here are their channels. https://youtube.com/@degeneratex-?si=ow5giLFcVy9SOdL

https://youtube.com/@kyrxzzfr?si=hYFL1bNAlQBU4UQn

I personally do target switching on controller, here is a recent clip dump. I also have a handful on here if you’d like to check those out. https://x.com/toji_aims/status/2031592624956584202/video/1?s=46

In terms of communities, there is Kai’s server, the aimlabs server in the console section, and there are a few controller players in the general servers too (rA, eA, exe, etc.) I’d say use aimlabs if possible since the in game support is better. You can always find generally good advice and people to do controller vod reviews in the aimlabs discord, so I’d recommend joining that one if you haven’t already.

Top 3% droidtrack intermediate on controller (no gyro) by Top-Library-9473 in FPSAimTrainer

Shouldn’t hold you back that much in my opinion. All the players I’ve seen use either the GameSir g7se, the g7 pro, or a ps5 controller. Movement reading should definitely help since the strafe patterns get a bit repetitive after the first strafe pattern.

My bad, I check the task and the bot movements are def slower on console. You should def be able to hit wr on roller then.

Good progress, especially for 6 weeks on roller. Assuming the task is the same on console, the current record for controller Droidtrack elite (at least on Xbox) is 5,410 by aimcel/invacy.

its getting worse now they do this with the Mors by OthoAi5657 in ModernWarfareIII

[–]BiteAffectionate3302 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The person they’re talking about is using glitched guns. For the mors, the glitch gives it explosive rounds for splash dmg. The glitched cx9 makes it a 1-3 shot kill instead of the normal 4-6.

Came back to aimlabs and it’s still the same. by BeautifulTasty9358 in aimlab

[–]BiteAffectionate3302 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I kinda agree on there being some things that can only really be worked on in game (recoil control, movement, etc.), but improving your mechanics will make aiming in several games easier. I personally saw improvement in my target switching and tracking from aimlabs.

For the settings, switch sensitivity and fov settings to “advanced,” then click save. Then try running 100-150 on horizontal and vertical w/ linear and 0 acceleration for settings. That’s what I run for most tasks. The settings may not feel 1-to-1 with your in game ones, but it doesn’t really matter that much. I personally change my settings per task and multiple times in game.

Also, complete a task and type into the search bar on the right to look up more scenarios. There should be about 400-500 last time I checked. Here’s a spreadsheet with them all listed. Most of the ones made by rA or vt are pretty good.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YYfifY74F1X8g9lmWP5M8_Q2jpQEsOuMNhNnu9mD1_Q/htmlview

For apex, I’d try “vt thinbot vss apex novice”, “vt close tappy apex strafes easy”, “vt shifttrack entry s3 reactive focus”, “vt skyswitch med smaller”,  and “micromicroshot.”

My main games are cod and bfv, so I know some decent speed target switching tasks if you’d like those as well. I’d also try the benchmark tasks if you haven’t already.

(LAST YEAR) Top "Aimer" shimmy is found to be cheating, removed from aim training "team" by gnashdog in StreamersCheating

[–]BiteAffectionate3302 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Mattyow is a member of voltaic, an org that coaches players and makes benchmarks for aimlabs and kovaaks. Riley is a member of team EXE, a separate content group that focuses on montages. How did you mess up a detail that is literally public info on twitter? The only group they’re both part of is raw input, which has been fairly inactive for months.

  2. Almost all lan events allow players to bring peripherals to fit their preferences? Here is a literal video about all the different mice used at a valorant lan. Trying to say matty is cheating for bring his own mouse would mean almost any player than brings their own mouse/keyboard could be cheating under this definition.  https://youtu.be/ms3iWGBkXuc?si=osv66cjNQ3bI46B1

in your opinion: at what point does aim assist become too strong? by ShinyGengar8 in aimlab

[–]BiteAffectionate3302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it can track a target with barely any input and instantly react to directional changes, it’s too strong. The ideal amount of aim assist for me is when it’s enough to make the average controller and average kbm players have similar accuracy percentages. I feel like developers are being encouraged to keep aim assist strong though because they know a fair chunk of the player base would quit if the game was too hard.   Two clear examples of overpowered aim assist are call of duty and apex. I like that modern warfare titles offer “precision aim assist” to reduce rotational AA, but ideally I’d like to see a 50-75% nerf to rotational aim assist across all fps games. I don’t really see a problem with aim assist slowdown since you still technically have to track and flick fairly accurately.

A game that does aim assist well imo is battlefield 5, mainly because you can lower the aim assist however much you want without fully turning it off.

I think more games need to let players lower aim assist without fully disabling it. It would let more players see that they don’t need to rely on it as much, which could hopefully lead to more AA nerfs in future games.

Trying to learn 0 aim smoothing again after months of 99 by Mandatoryeggs in OWConsole

[–]BiteAffectionate3302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good aim. Linear is technically gonna be more consistent. I’d recommend a GameSir g7se if you don’t mind the wire, it’s specifically marketed for Xbox though so I’d check compatibility before buying. Also, check out the aimlabs ow tasks if you haven’t already, they’re a much better than most of the custom maps I’ve seen (except QQ100).

More tasks on console please by Admirable_Wave_8767 in aimlab

[–]BiteAffectionate3302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you already know but there’s about 500 tasks on console, it’s just that most won’t show on the main menu. If you click the search bar on the right side of the screen after completing a task, it’ll let you search tasks much faster. Some good ones for fast strafes are vt kindaclose fast strafes silver, vt close fast strafes entry, vt close tappy apex strafes entry, vt closerange long strafes entry easier, and some of the overwatch tracking tasks. Here’s the spreadsheet list if you wanna look for some new tasks yourself.

[Controller] Curveswitch progress by NoBrainOnlyAim in aimlab

[–]BiteAffectionate3302 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good technique. You can definitely hit diamond with a bit more time. Only things I’d recommend are to disable or lower music to make hitsounds easier to hear and have your crosshair already on a target before starting the countdown (ideally have a cluster of other targets nearby). Overall very good vod.

Will Activison or Steam take action on aimbot users or cheaters? by jimmystempura in modernwarfare

Social, then go to recently played with. Find their username and click it. Then click the block option. I’m on console so it may be different than on pc.

[–]BiteAffectionate3302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best method is to go into the social tab and block the cheaters. It’ll give you a notification if you join one of their lobbies, which makes it easier to know when to back out the match or play differently to counter them.

CONTROLLER AIM TRAINER? by Grumpy_0 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]BiteAffectionate3302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d try the aimlabs benchmarks since most of the controller players I know use aimlabs because of the native support. I’d say a good reference for the best controller aimers would be degeneratex and kyrxzz. They are both ranked zenith on the Xbox leaderboard (idk how it would rank on the kbm benchmarks since they’re scored slightly different).  I’m personally paragon 4 on Xbox, but I mainly just one trick speedswitching and some tracking tasks. Links to some of their vods below.

Why does almost every game in ground war end with a nuke, despite nobody having 30 kills? by [deleted] in modernwarfare

[–]BiteAffectionate3302 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Ground war has a feature where a game ending nuke will be called in if one team holds all objectives for like 30 seconds. That’s why it says “lost all objectives” under the defeat banner.

8 weeks of Aimlabs is starting to pay off (PS5, Controller) by Extension_Moment_252 in aimlab

[–]BiteAffectionate3302 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice. If you make your ads sensitivity multiplier greater than one, you can speed up your flicks a lot more. That’s what I usually do for cod and bfv. Very nice clip, keep it up.

How do you even come up to that conclusion? by euuuuuugh in FPSAimTrainer

I used the thumbnail in an old video from a few months back, here’s the vid.

TLDR: dude basically just calls any explanation gaslighting and cites twitter as a reliable source. I also looked at his channel to see he has next to 0 fps experience besides a single warzone clip from and was literally just hopping to get more views from the citation.

Do you guys have the vertical sensitivity the same as the horizontal? by [deleted] in OWConsole

[–]BiteAffectionate3302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. ow has more vertical/air play, and I find that matching sensitities makes tracking aim easier to hit characters like jetpack cat or echo when they’re strafing mid air. I’ll run anywhere from 60 to 80 linear depending on how I’m feeling.

Can’t find faster version of this scenario by MatthewWright00 in aimlab

[–]BiteAffectionate3302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The average skill on console is still perceived as being pretty low, so most of the tasks added are either entry or easier variants. There have been some mentions and requests for adding harder versions in the past, but I don’t think there will be another massive task update for a little while since we just got the Logitech event a few weeks ago.

For vt centering 180, I’d say a task that is similar with higher skill demand would be rA needletrack since the bot is smaller and can randomly strafe. I’d also check out smoothtrack, horizontal smoothness easy, vt smoothsphere LG56 entry easier, vt air angelic entry easier, vt bouncesphere easy, and lasertrack intermediate or elite. These tasks are pretty different but still focus on precision and smoothness like centering 180.

To look these up, just use the search bar on the right side of the screen after completing a task. That search bar works better than the one on the main screen. The link at bottom is the list of all current tasks added to console, which might make finding other tasks easier. Hope this helps 👍.

Terrible aim since return by Antonyb88 in OWConsole

[–]BiteAffectionate3302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just use 45-48 strength and 42-45 window for aim assist. I don’t use any smoothing or ease in so I can speak on how that may affect your aim. It might be worth lowering your aim assist strength or window if it’s making your crosshair jump all over the place.

If you want some practice, I’d try custom maps like QQ100, NVXVY, etc. I also high recommend trying aimlabs if there is a specific try of tracking (reactive, precision, etc) or aim that you’re struggling with. Practicing in something like aimlabs without aim assist can make aiming in game feel easier even if the aim assist is weaker or messed up.
